I've been busy with my mini-series for B7 Comics by the way - on course to launch at the Lakes International Comic Art Festival in October. #2 is now written, and we've been having fun this week thinking up some creepy visuals for #3!
I'm very sorry to hear this and hope that with vaccinations, if you've caught it too, your encounter with this pathogen is as mild as possible.
To cheer you up for those in bed, and everyone else, too, I've just posted the next episode of "Charlotte Corday - Race of Giants" by Stephen Walsh & Keith Page, lettered by John Freeman, here on Tapas: https://tapas.io/series/The-Adventures-of-Charlotte-Corday/info - Please do subscribe! It's free!
And here's a sneak peek at the SF comic I'm working on, PILGRIM, from B7 Comics - written by me, art by Neil Edwards, colour by Martin Baines, scheduled for October release and Launching at the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. More information over at https://pilgrim2121.com
I know, I know... I'm such a tease!
In other news, thanks to Peter Duncan, my creation, “Autospy & Ape” returns this summer to the new SPLANK comic.
The strip first ran in STRIP Magazine, initially drawn by Jon Rushby, then by Nicholas Sputnik Miller, who have kindly agreed those strips can feature in SPLANK.
Earlier this year, I put out a call for pitches for artists to draw the strip, and had some terrific responses. Thanks in particular to Gavin Pollock, who sent me a fantastic character sketch which he may wish to share in the comments.
I’m toying with the idea of an Autospy & Ape one shot, but with some major projects coming up and in progress, in comics, games and a return to a magazine I previously edited, it will be a while before I get to it.
Nick has drawn some smashing promotional art. Feel free to suggest gizmos you want to see added to Autospy’s gadget, and he will add them!

But we can't forget "Charlotte Corday - Race of Giants" by Stephen Walsh and Keith Page - and another episode has just been published!
Attacked by the alien Bagalags as she tries to win a bizarre race that may yet save the planet, Charlotte Corday finds her day goes from bad... to even worse!

Phew!
So apologies for the delay posting a new epsiode of "Race of Giants", in which Charlotte Corday is a reluctant entrant in a race to save the Earth, fraught with weird dangers - and not just gun-toting aliens...

Talking of Keith Page, he's been busy working on a new "Strawjack" historical adventure - and fingers crossed, the first one should be available in print, very soon. But if you can't wait, you can buy it here on Amazon as a digital edition - https://amzn.to/3uqoMzn
I've been busy on other fronts, too, with the Lakes International Comic Art Festival - first guest announcement next week! - "Pilgrim", an SF comic, drawn by Neil Edwards, and more. Busy times.
Hope you're all OK in continued strange times!
