Brian was driving back from the girls house and was now on his way back to the pizza place. He couldn't believe his own eyes when he saw the girl that was standing at the door. She was short, but not too short, and she was curvy, and a little bit chubby to. Her eyes was the most beautiful eyes he'd ever seen, and he wanted to run his hand through her hair.
The drive wasn't long and he was soon inside the restaurant again. James was standing behind the counter flirting with a his boyfriend. He hadn’t fixed his hair today and it looked like a black birdsnest at the top of his head. And it appeared he had not slept much, probably because of another movie marathon with Scott. His brown eyes had dark circles under them. James and Scott has been together for almost two hole years now, and they were just as crazily in love. It was quite annoying to watch sometimes. The way Scoot would always tuch James brown skin when he thought nobody would notice.
Scott noticed Brian and caught the look on his face. Brian guessed he looked utterly surprised or something, from the way Scott reacted. “Have you seen a ghost or something? Your super pale.” he esclaimed tuching his cheeks. “I’m fine.” Brian said and sat down at a table. “Are you sure? Maybe you should go home.” James said and sat a glass of water in front of him. “Yeah maybe.” Brian said and went to talk with the manager.
…………….
The first thing Brian did when he got home was find his mother. She was a small kind lady in her mid thirties. She had blonde hair and brown eyes, just like Brian, but he got his fathers build. Tall and slim. A little muscular, but not much. His father was two years older than his mother who was 35.
She was in her office when he found her. She was catching up on some paperwork she didn't get to do since they were on vacation for a month. He burst into the room and sat down opposite her. “What's wrong?” she asked him. He didn't answer until she looked up from her computer screen. “I found my mate. At least I think I did.” Brian told his mother. A smile spread across her face. “Where? Whats her name? When can I meet her?” his mother asked him. He didn't know what to say. “I don't know. She ordered pizza so I saw her at her house I guess. But it was weird. Did you know Petra had another person living with her?”
“Actually I did. A boy and two girls moved in with her in the beginning of last month I think.”
“Do you know any of their names.”
“No, I’m sorry, but i know the eldest goes to your school, and the middle one is the same age as your sister, and the youngest is 7 or 8. That's all I know about them.”
“Okay, thanks. I’m going to go to bed.”
“Goodnight.”
…………….
The next day when Brian woke up he was sad there wasn't school. He really wanted to see if he had any classes with the new girl. Instead he spent his saturday helping his dad bake for Lily’s birthday party tomorrow. His father owned a bakery. Both him and Brian loved cooking and baking.
……………
Lily was all over the place with her friends. They were running around chasing a group of boys. “I think its sugar rush.” said James. “Yeah.” Scott muttered. Brian was just silently watching the chaos. He was on his guard. Last time Lily was this energetic she almost broke her arm falling down a tree.
It was time to open presents, and in all the rush to get to them, a girl got pushed and fell. Brian heard it when she hit her head on the table. The next thing he noticed was the blood. He rushed to the girl and inspected her would. It was deep and she was sitting up by herself. “Are you okay?” he asked the girl. “My head hurts.” she answered inn between soobs. “Do you want me to get somebody?” Brian asked her. She thought for a second before answering. “Can you call my sister?” she sobbed. “Of course. What's her number?”
The phone rang a few times before she picked up. “Hello?” said the voice and Brian frose. It was the girl from friday. His mate. For a moment he forgot what he was supposed to do. “Did she answer?” the little girl asked him. “Hello? Is someone there?” the girl in the phone asked again. “Yes. Um, your sister got hurt and want you to come.”
“Is she alright?”
“Sher okay, but she hit her head.”
“Okay, I’ll be there soon. Bye.” she said in a hurry and hung up on him.
“Is she coming?” the little girl asked. “Yeah. She’ll be here soon.” Brian answered. He then realised he didn't know the girls name. “What's your name?” he asked her. “Amber, what about you?”
“Brian.”
