I guess that the reaction Shepard is showing in this page can be interpreted as OOC for a Renegade, but personally, I consider that even the most badass person has its breaking point.
I've been reading many fanfics at fanfic.net and I'm sure that some ideas that appear in this comic may come from the wonderful fics you can find there.
I had no intention of stealing/copying ideas, so if anyone sees something that could have been inspired from any fic there, please be so kind as to point it out and I'll be delighted to link the chapter and credit the writer.
