The beginning of the chapter shows Satan finding a means to infiltrate the Garden-by possessing an animal. (Which I find is plausible based on Matt 8:31)
As for Eve, while we don't know why she went to the tree, the spiritual principle I want to get across here is that before we make poor choices, we typically put ourselves at the wrong place at the wrong time. For example, David and Bathsheba.
