Theo was woken by a throbbing pain all over her body, it started in her skin and wove down, through the layers of her body, causing her very bones ache painfully. She wiggled her way up onto the pillow of the bed she was laying in, gasping and wincing as she accidentally sat on a fresh bruise, then carefully shuffling onto a less painful section of her butt. Theo sighed as she checked her arms and legs for any bites, and sighed again in relief when she realised she wasn't. I mean, even if she was in immense pain, she wasn't bitten? Right? She tried to sit up again and silently wished she had been bitten.
Theo looked round at the calming dark blue walls, appreciative of the fact that they'd also hung her clothes up, of course they weren't her clothes. Her clothes were scratched and torn at, but they were a pretty good copy, plain white t-shirt, pale blue jumper and dark jeans. She reached for them tentatively, her fingers not quite reaching them at the position she was in, she shifted slightly again, but she felt a tearing pain in her arm that made her pull back.
"You have finally risen from the grip of death..." Said a tall, dark figure in the doorway, causing her jump, and then promptly wince again. Theo hadn't noticed them before and she could see why. The man's clothes were also the exact same shade of blue, as though they'd painted the walls and his clothes got so paint splattered, that he'd decided to just dye them all in the paint.
"Uh, you okay there buddy?" Theo raised an eyebrow at him.
"Yes I'm fine, although you are the one who should be receiving that question." He said dramatically. "Are you, uhhh?" She smirked, causing the boy to look shocked.
"I'll have you know I am perfectly sane!" He remarked, crossing his arms and moving closer to the bed. "I didn't sa-" The boy hushed her.
"Shh. I knew what you were thinking. I am psychic" He struck a dramatic pose and smirked at her. "I'm just joking... Or am I?! No I am.. Unfortunately... I'm Oscar by the way." Theo smiled and shifted again.
"Nice to meet you Oscar, Are you sure you want to be sharing this information with me?" She asked. Oscar shrugged and looked indifferent.
"It's not like you're gonna do anything about it. You're gonna be bed bound for a week or two." This made her shift again, he wasn't aware of her accelerated healing factors. Of course, she would still be in pain for a day or two, but after that she would right as rain.
"Yeah. Sucks for me I guess..." She laughed awkwardly.
Oscar suddenly stood and stretched out His long sleeves slipped dow, revealing long, faded scratch scars. Theo studied them carefully, they looked awfully odd for zombie marks, what else could they of been? "Well I'll leave you here to rest. You'll need it!" He smiled friendlily and walked out. Theo sighed and moved her body, testing her limits. Good, No pain. As she'd expected to be honest. Still, she couldn't help but feel guilty about her accelerated healing. All demons had it. Less time for healing, more time for evil and torture and all that cliche demon stuff. As she settled down for sleeping the door slammed open and a short, dark skinned girl walked through, her expression flat and cold. It sent chills down Theo's back...
