OK Art: Ivan

Still trying to get some real-world stuff worked, so no new Outcast Kingdom just yet. But I'm not about to leave you empty handed.
Here's a sketch of Ivan done in ink and colored pencils. I'm considering doing the comic in color pencils, for a number of reasons. One, it looks good when you know what you're doing. Two, my old method was maddeningly inefficient, involving far more steps than necessary.
Not sure if I will or not. Still trying to figure it out.
What do you think? Does it look alright? Should I do the comic in color pencils? Any feedback, insight, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated.
I may have to adjust the colors digitally-- the colors on my screen looks a little different than the original drawing. I mean, I know Ivan's a bit pale, but here he's straight-up grey. Oh well. I'm working on it.
It may take a little longer to get back to uploading actual episodes, but it will (almost) certainly be before the end of the month.
If it's not up by February, I owe you guys something cool. Mark my words.

A slightly unorthodox fantasy adventure tale about four heroes in a land inhabited by monsters rather than humans.
But instead of looking to mythology and ancient legends for inspiration, I base Outcast Kingdom mostly on recent fantasy elements, such as classic monster movies, cryptozoology, and literature from within the past couple hundred years.
I try to focus on complex, likable characters; a memorable and imaginative world; and hopefully enough humor to make keep it fun and light hearted.
