"Momma!" Young Ayana ran into her quaint countryside house and into the arms of her mom. "Momma guess what!"
"What, darling?" her mother, Leesa Soren asked, kneeling down.
"Today at school, my friend Bianca gave me this present!" Ayana showed her mother a small bracelet made from twigs.
"It's beautiful, Ayana," Leesa said. "I wish I had one like it."
"Oh but Momma you do!" Ayana smiled. "I asked Bianca how she made it so I could make you one too!" Little Ayana handed her mother another bracelet, different in size but still the same look. She slipped it on her mothers hand. Leesa beamed proudly at her daughter.
"Thank you, Yani," she smiled. "You are more kind than Queen Kindness herself." Ayana giggled. She knew nobody could be nicer than Queen Kindness, but she agreed with her mother anyways. Then a tall, dark figure stood over the two of them. Ayana's heart stopped beating for half a second.
"Koba?" Leesa asked, not believing her eyes.
"Dad!" Ayana grinned, turning around to hug her father. "You're home early!"
"I finished earlier than I thought, so I came home to surprise you," Koba Soren smiled.
