After leaving the aquarium the duo headed towards the restaurant she had reserved, the girl still coiled around his arm. The way they walked down the street attracted a lot of disapproving glares. Although neither of them really seemed to care about it. Why would they? It wasn't like they were really doing something indecent. After a short walk the couple already found themself inside the restaurant were they sought out a table. In front of the table Emily let go of his arm she looked him right in the eyes and smiled. "Now your hand isn't cold any more" She grinningly remarked. The remark struck him of-guard as he was unable to suppress a gniffle while pulling her chair from under the table to help her get seated. After sitting down himself he felt himself getting nervous. The guilt from in the aquarium was still plaguing his mind and he wanted to tell her why he had acted like he did. "Emily?" The green eyes shot up in surprise wile he continued. "About what happened in the..." He suddenly stopped. Normally this would've made her freak out. However the way that those ice cold looking eyes still gave out such warmth while looking at her made her confident it wouldn't be to prematurely end the date. "Yes what about it?" She asked him trying to let him continue. Seeing how his hand was trembling she continued. "you really don't have to apologize." Hearing this apparently strengthened his resolve to do just that as he shook his head in disagreement. "You need to know that I really like being with you." He finally spoke up enforced by the serious look in his eyes. Although she already had a feeling he did actually hearing him say it made her heart flutter. He wasn't done yet however. "And the only reason I was so afraid was..." His eyes diverted towards one of the corners of the building and the pale skin turned red before he moved on. She clearly saw his lips moving and could vaguely make out his voice but the noise in the busy restaurant made it impossible for her to understand what he just said.
