So in school, I was part of the Music club and every time we had school events, we'd always present a bunch of songs (Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop, etc....you name it!). It is a struggle especially when we transition to the next song and I symphathize will all musicians with the aches we feel after the whole performance, but the applause was all worth it. (It ain't easy guys, but we love our music so much we don't notice the pain 'til after)
If you're wondering why drummers wrists hurt(especially Jazz drummers, hats off to you guys!) is because the technique of drumming is how fast your wrists are (not the strength of your arms, because you'd get tired easily) in getting the right rolls and combos.
Guitarists and all string players have the same complaint as well with their fingers. But y'know, who cares....The things we do for love right?

I have so much respect for jazz drummers... They probably have wrist biceps
