The Blue Void that was the sky was soaked in the flowing white clouds like cotton candy on a blue backdrop but then breaking through the cloud line was a large land mass, a hunk of stone and dirt, chunks of rocks falling down to the earth periodically them like hail on a stormy day atop of this massive floating landmass was a walled city, at the center of it was a huge tower that reached into the sky, chains coming from it meeting every corner of there floating homeland, this was The Crow's Nest, a Pirate haven but not your typical swashbuckler pirates sailing the seven seas these pirates sail the skies, hunting down traders, empire shipments or just simple travelers and inside one of the many taverns of the large stronghold was a man who didn't fit in with the rogues and crooks the man was human which already made him stand out, his outfit was that of a noble men as he leaned into the countertop, he smelt of cheap wine and regret as he looked around the bar from the Goblin whores to the minotaur in the corner armwrestling a orc this was the last place he wanted to end up but exile was a strange thing.
While he was drowning himself away in his sorrows and anger the door to the drinking hole opened up three figures walked in, well two walked in and the centerpiece of them both slithered in. With that they were standing at the doorway the two large men with swords on their waists and the look of blood lust on their faces and then in between them was a female, her skin was pale with a elegant but scared face that held a smirk so sly a fox would turn its head in worry, as she put her hands on her hips she let out a loud cough commanding and harsh to try and impose silence through the drinking hole but to no avail as music screams and laughs would still fill the run down building she drew one of the pistols that were held by her chest plate and fired a shot into a glass the bartender was cleaning it causing a silence to run through the bar as they turned to her, some reaching for their weapons but stopping quickly when they realized who it was.
“Ah Finally, some Silence around here...” she moved silently up to the counter leaning beside the nobleman soaking away his troubles soon she reaches over to take his glass her surprised with the reaction time and the grip he had around her wrist as he turned to her and scowled. “That is a Bad Idea.” She raised a eyebrow at this but god she loved this, she hasn't been challenged by someone in a long time due to the name she made for herself her grinning while tapping the short curved blade on her waist as she hummed, “And why is that, I am Slithra the Captain of the Serpents Claw, and who the fuck do you think you are.” She hissed her tongue a bit but yelped in surprise as he ripped her closer his hand against her stomach which seemed to be cold to the touch to the point she heard the metal plate on her chest crackling against his pushing hand as he leaned in and whispers to her.
“Someone who has had a very long week, and someone is is very passionate about their drink, so how about you put my glass back on the counter and leave..please.” he groaned as his noble raising still required him to be polite even to someone of her attitude but to his surprise she smiled and laughed as she leaned back her wiping the ice off her chest plate before she smirked. “A Sense of...Nobility and a Magic user ? your a interesting one I must say,” she leaned her body up her towering over him a bit as she threw a few coins on the counter and turned, “But your drinking swill ? if you want out of this shit hole and some better drink, I might just have some work for you..Meet me at the Dry docks if you're interested, look out for the airship with the snakes head on the front~ ” she heads off out of the door and soon her two guards from before follow, the noble men scowled her offer was a interesting one to say the very least but why would he want to leave, he had a good few coins left in his pocket, enough to let him stay here for a few nights but as he looked up he seen a pissed off human staring at him before pointing over to where the two guards were sitting before they left, two men on the ground knocked out and many glasses on the table the bartender holding his hand out asking for payment,
The Streets of The Crows Nest were a mess, stalls trying to sell stolen goods, beggars desperate for coin and pick pockets trying to take anything that isn't chained to a person and the nobleman quickly learned this but it wasn't like he had any coin left, he came to this city with little coin and now it was sucked out as he was forced to pay for Slithras crews damages and now he was as poor as most of these beggars just more well dressed and as he was slipping and gazing through the streets he froze seeing down the street a group of four men, they were dressed a bit like him in red robes but unlike him they had steel armor on over it, helmets to match, and on his chest the royal seal of his family's house and he knew when they were showing photos of him that it was time to leave as he slips through the crowded until a hoarse voice, deep but powerful calls out in a way that makes his blood freeze, “Stop right there !” and once he realized there were talking to him which took him a bit too long he took off sprinting down the narrow alleyways of the Crows nest it a maze of twists and turns but soon enough he sprinted himself into a large brick wall and as he tried to turn around to take another turn he seen standing a few feet away were the armored men from before, halberds in their grip as they stopped his approach before the one in the center walked forward and took his helmet off.
He knew his face and not for a good reason, as the helmet was hooked to the figures belt he let out a deep chuckle, his face was scarred and sliced, a ugly mug of brawl and not many brains, unattended hair and a beard to match and the noblemen let out a gentle groan. “Commander Lastin, by the void I was praying not to ever see your ugly face again as long as I live.” The Puffy face of the commander got bright red with rage as he growled his words unthinking and seemingly uncaring as well. “I would gut you like a deer on a hunt if your father didn't want you...alive” he smirked and drew a club, “Doesn't mean you got to be in one piece” as the noble men was about to argue he heard a loud thumping noise and the guards looked around as the Commander seemed confused, and then from out of view a massive figure armored and nearly seven foot tall, maybe even taller comes ramming into the guards like a blur him picking up two of the guards like they were rag dolls and smashing them against the wall spinning and throwing them to the ground before he took a massive hammer off his back, someone that looks like it could crush rocks almost as well as skulls and then he raised it up bringing it down onto the kneecap of the last guard making him scream out shrilling with a blood curdling pain while this was going on the commander was in shock backing up but as he turned he got a face full of ice as a iceblock of a fist smashed into his face sending him sprawling back with a bloody nose.
When things calmed down the large figure walked forward, him looking down at the nobel who smiled cringing a bit as the guard was still faintly screaming him slowly passing out from the pain but he still smiled up at the figure, “Thanks man, they weren't going to be too friendly.. Who are you anyway. When he was meeten with silence he felt the situation get a bit tense him turning and trying to slip past the man only to be stopped, the large figure took his helmet off, his face seemed human but atop of his head sticking out of the hair was two large bullhorns, the half minotaur staring down at him, like a lion hungry for his next meal, or well a bull trapped in a cage. “Oh I see that you aren't the talking type, well ! i think i will just go.”
The Large Man scowled and shakes his head, “Slithraa told me to deliver you” the nobel was so confused, deliver him, deliver him where then as he looked him and seen the large sack going down over his face he groaned and struggled but it did little to make a difference as the large man carried him off somewhere, and while this was happening the nobel contemplated his life, what god or witch he must of pissed off to have such a strain of bad luck on his part then with a less than easy thump he was dropped onto a wooden surface him groaning and as the bag is pulled of his forehead he lets out a almost hungover groan at the sudden bright sunlight and a loud cocky and familiar female voice ringing out and as he opens up he seen it was slithraa the same damned snake from before !
“Heya Lad ! welcome to my crew~.” She smirked cockily as the nobleman looked at her seeing the large Minotaur standing stoically beside her a towering hunk of mass and a few other crew members going around and working flops back staring at the sky, him groaning wondering if he even had a say, but maybe one of two things could come out of this, he gets a chance to make a new life, or at least earn enough for his drinking habits
