It seems that I forgot to mention that Ayren Shepard is Earthborn and, even though I'm aware that background states that Shepard never knew his/her parents, in this fic she did knew her mother. I'm not going to expand in this part, as it will be dealt with later.
Other thing I wanted to mention is: please Kaidan fans (if any), do not flame! I'm NOT implying Kaidan is bad, mean or thoughtless, in fact, I'm implying another thing that will be explained in future chapters ;).
