Chapter 01 Cover

I like the idea of a chapter cover. Don’t you? It’s a great chance to have fun by teasing about some of the upcoming events. Of course, it is kind of hard to tease when nothing is established already. So the first cover is little more than a group picture.
One of these days I’m going to have the cover for a chapter be an image of Sabertooth feasting on Wolverine’s spine, as a tribute to how Dave Barrack described his pet peeve of comic book covers that don’t match the contents.
Personally I think it is quite a lark to title the first chapter “Secret Origins Issue.” Are the characters Super Heroes? No. Do we even address the origins of anything today? No. But c’mon, it’s a comic, of course the first issue is the secret origins issue!
