When I'm watching anime (or anything, really) with friends, they're always confused when I don't fall head over heels for the generic, "prince" types. Because God forbid I fall for the men that are actually -gasp!- manly!
And it's not just prince types that make me cringe. It's any sort of bland, cliche characters that have no twist or unique factors whatsoever. But apparently those kind of characters are the kind that every girl dreams of.
