For those who might be curious about how a moth and a mantis can be siblings, here's a little bit of information on Greatlander genetics:
Asami, Nae, Tetsuo and Miyo are an adoptive family, they don't share any bloodlines. Although, two individuals of different kinds could be blood siblings.
Any individual can breed and generate offspring with any other individual of the opposite sex, and the resulting child will always be either of the same kind of the mother, or of the same of the father. There is no hybridism.
