Prologue

We’re going to start off with the whole prologue all at once. From here on through the beginning of summer, there will be one page posted at a time, Monday-Wednesday-Friday.
This prologue starts rather on the violent side, but that’s more the exception than the norm. Never quite sure what the violence-level cutoff for NSFW tag is, but I decided to err on the side of safety.
This series is formatted for print, so the wider pages are actually two-page spreads. It kind of loses the impact formatted for Tapastic. Oh well!
Edit: I have been informed by a number of people that the amount of violence on display here doesn't really qualify as NSFW, so I tried un-tagging the page. Please let me know if you think this was a bad call!
