Yuck!
Curiosity killed the mouse.
Though they walk and talk like humans, animals in this world don't generally have technology like humans (think Lion King). Seep was the notable exception. He found a small backpack originally meant for some sort of doll or action figure, and figured out its purpose. The intelligent and curious (to a fault) mouse was able to use it to store items he found while foraging.
Wix was impressed by Seep's ingenuity, but warned him against being too curious around human things. When they scavenged together, Seep would often marvel at the traps the humans had set out for them, trying to figure out how they worked. This didn't interest Wix, who often had to stop Seep from getting too close.
