"Are you done observing?" He said with a smirk on his face. I came to my senses. 

"Uhmmm........ Ahhhhh......." I was stuttering. I couldn't think of anything to say.

"What are you doing here...... your grace?" That was the only thing that came out of my mouth at that moment.

"I was getting bored...... and I decided to come to the library, I'd never imagined the library to be this big by the way...... there are tons of books in here. I didn't know that you were here. I'm sorry if I startled you." he apologized again.

Oh! no, no, your grace... you don't have to apologize." I said while looking down at my feet.

"I did cause a mess in here," He said while looking at the books that were on the floor.

"No, it's okay, your grace..... I'll clean this place," I said while putting the books back on the shelf.

"Do you like to read books?" He asked me at the same time he was getting a book from the shelf.

"Yes, your grace, reading books is the main thing in my life... I read books when I get bored."

"Do you have a favorite book" 

"Yes, your grace, It's Eternal Soul by Amelia," I said and he looked at me with a surprised face.

"Really, It's my favorite book also." He said with an excited face. I've never seen a Duke be this chatty, and also friendly. I feel like this is a dream because I can't believe I'm talking to a Duke.

"Do you have a favorite line from that book?"

"No, your grace, there isn't exactly one"

"My favorite line from that book is 'It was love at first sight, At last sight, At ever and ever sight'" He said while looking at me.

I blushed at the way he looked at me. His dark brown eyes stared right at me like he was observing me. That look gave me shivers down my spine and he was so close to me that  I could even see his long eyelashes. Immediately I looked away from his gaze.

"I'm sorry for wasting your time, your grace. You must be late to go back." I said while taking one step back.

"But, I did enjoy talking with you. It was refreshing." 

"Thank you, your grace,...... I also enjoy talking with your grace" I said with a smile.

"Then I will leave now" After he said that, he went towards the door while I was bowing to him. He suddenly turns back to me.....

"I would like to know your name by the way..." 

"It's Lucy, your grace....." 

"Then It was lovely to meet you, Lucy. I hope we will meet again soon."  He glanced at me for one last time and headed back to the main hall. I stand there for a while and start to rethink what had happened. It was like seeing an angel for the first time. After a while, I went to the room, and when I went inside, Belle was already asleep. So I decide not to tell her about everything that happened. I laid my head on the pillow and starts to think about the little conversation we had. I didn't really believe the fact that he was so open-minded about everything. I couldn't get him out of my mind the whole day. I hope that we will meet someday, and I can't wait to see him again...........
