“Okay, let’s practice a simple Tier 3 White Magic spell.”
Tier 3 White Magic spell?
Kizuki seemed curious.
“Ayaka-sensei…”
“Yes, Fujita-san?”
“Umm… Didn’t we had it practiced in yesterday’s class?”
“I’m aware of that, Fujita-san. Since today is Izumi-san first day, I think we should let him recall his magic skills.”
“Eh—?!”
“Oh…”
“Okay, Izumi-san… please step forward.”
“Huh? Me?”
“Yes.”
“Oh… okay.”
Kizuki minced to the front of the class. He doesn’t have a clue what he needed to do, and stood by the podium.
“Okay, now… if you don’t mind throwing this paper plane towards the girls.”
Now we’re playing origami or something? This Ayaka… she better off not scheming something.
Kizuki criticized Ayaka in his head.
Ayaka handed the folded paper that was folded into an airplane to him as she requested Kizuki to throw it in the mid-air.
“Hmm, what is it for, Ayaka-sensei?”
“Well… whoever this paper plane lands on, you will have a mock spell-casting battle with that person. Got it?”
“Ohh…”
So… there’s a probability that hot-headed girl will be chosen. But there are like 20 students in here which unlikely to be her, since this just some paper plane randomly flies around… Wait a second… if I throw as near as possible towards the right row, then—definitely it won’t land on her. Yup, that should do the trick. Here goes nothing…
Kizuki threw the paper plane as he planned, so that the paper plane will be landing at the right row from his point of view, which was near the window as he expected it to be. The paper plane then flies towards the direction as he expected it to be, but—
Eh? What the hell?!
—it flies around towards the centre row, and then to the left row of the table, lingering in the mid-air as if it’s deciding whom to choose.
“WHOA~”
The whole class did not seem to be expecting that change of course of a paper plane, that flies quite some time in the air, further lingering in the classroom. A normal paper plane should have landed seconds ago after been thrown, but not for this piece of paper. …Weird.
Ayaka must have casted a spell on it! Cheeky sensei! Kizuki couldn’t do anything but cussed his lecturer, Ayaka in his mind.
The paper plane then lingered to the centre of the large auditorium classroom to front row of the table, the first row where Naomi and Yuki were seated.
“Eeeh? W-What is this?” Naomi muttered to Yuki as she looked up towards the paper plane.
“Umm… I don’t know.” Yuki had no idea what was happening.
Tsk. Please not her, please not her, just please God, not that annoying hot-headed girl.
Kizuki whom at unease, clasping his hands in prayer, and do slight kowtow, begging to the God, when he saw the paper plane lingered above the row that it was not supposed to.
And…
*rustle*
“Eeeehh? Eeeekkk!”
Apparently, the paper plane landed on—
—Naomi’s head, pinned in her hair.
