The fiery red-haired girl stepped out of the classroom and shut the door; she then… heard someone was snoring—
*glare*
“WAKE UP!!”
As she yelled, she furiously landed a kick on a person that seemed to be dozing off.
“Whoa—Hey!”
It was Kizuki pretending to be dozing off, sitting cross-legged—leaning against the wall. He managed to dodged Naomi’s kick.
“Ugh, you’re so annoying!”
“Gosh, you are the one whom feel unsafe with me, and now you wanna put the blame on me?! Whatever—Anyway, I’m sorry if I startled you from the very beginning—since we met.”
“Hmpf!”
Naomi still with her ego—puffing out her cheeks, rejecting Kizuki’s peace treaty.
“I’m just gonna sit back and relax until Ayaka-sensei call us back in. Suit yourself.”
“Tch—this is my first time being thrown out of the class because of you, don’t you get it?! Where should I put my face as a top student in this academy! Ended up being punished—standing outside of the classroom—with you!” Naomi raised her voice after each sentence.
“You’re so noisy. You’re the one who is standing. Kindly be seated, be my guest.”
Kizuki mocked her as she kept complaining and complaining.
“Ugh—! Whatever!”
After few moments, she finally sat on the marble floor that seemed as if it was polished every day, inches away next to Kizuki and leaning against the wall, where between them was the classroom door; double leaf door made out of fine solid wood with exquisite carving on it.
Along the corridor, no one was there, only mild noises could be heard resounded across the corridors from both sides, those noises were the lecturers from other classes, lecturing.
“By the way—”
“No.”
“Huh? …I’m not yet even say a thing.”
“You’re interested in the incident here—happened months back, isn’t it?”
Eh?! Kizuki’s dark blue irises dilated widely.
“How did you know that? Do you have some sort of mind-reading magic?”
“I’m not at that level yet. Because it’s the same question asked by new students here. So, I’m just guessing.”
“Why wouldn’t you talk about it—?”
“I just don’t feel like it. Especially with you.”
With her arms crossing—she faced away from Kizuki, and—
“It seems like you guys are having a good time.”
—the classroom door opened with a voice drifted from inside. It was Ayaka.
“—?!”
“Hmmm.”
“Well, there is no point for a twenty—”
“Twenty???”
Both—Naomi and Ayaka, wondered as Kizuki said something incoherently.
“I-I mean, why should I—entertain this immature girl right here…?”
“Oh…”
Naomi and Ayaka oohed concurrently.
“…Wait a second—who do you call, ‘immature’?!” Naomi’s voice was taut with irritation.
“Did I…?”
Kizuki was pretending as if he didn’t say anything whilst gently stroked his chin.
“Hehe… both of you are so cute. Maybe you guys can be a married couple someday.”
“WH-WHAT—?!” Kizuki and Naomi responded at the same moment.
Shocked and embarrassed with such abrupt utterance from Ayaka—two of them quickly rebutted.
“Nu-uh!”
“No, no, no, no, no! Absolutely, nope!”
“Oh my, oh my… Both of your faces seem red. You will get used to it sooner.”
“Y-Your imagination has gone way too far, Ayaka-sensei. Haa…” Kizuki sighed.
“I-I have to agree with Izumi-san this time.”
“Well… if both of you already had enough ‘fun’ outside, you might wanna join the class.”
Jested Ayaka with a mischievous smile.
“We’re going in, Ayaka-sensei…”
Replied both of them together and walked into the classroom.
