Hm, I like the character your handwriting brings but if you use it for a lengthier conversation it might be a bit much and turn off some readers. Perhaps reserve your handwriting to emphasize certain words or phrases and use type for normal dialogue? I also suggest looking into a font that complements your drawing style. The old one doesn't do your art justice! There are a bunch of free comic fonts on Blambot.com. Hope this helps!
