ch.1, p.7 - Where Am I?

I think most isekai stories tend to gloss over how scary it can be to find yourself in an unfamiliar place (even if we're not talking about a fantasy world, that's super disorienting). I'll say again, this isn't one of those power fantasy types of isekai. Chiaki isn't the most powerful being in the world; she's just a scrawny neurodivergent kid, and this is a LOT to process.
There are some things of note here, though. The doctor in the last three panels is the first character to have a traditionally plain white dialogue bubble. Most significant characters have some unique shade to highlight who's speaking. But "NPC type characters" who are unnamed and don't have much of a role beyond a page or two, will get these bland white ones (why waste colors on people I'll never use again). So I hope you're not too attached to this doctor; we'll probably never see him again. XD
But he does mention something called a Spirit Stamp. It's something pertaining to how magic functions in this world. We'll talk more about what Stamps are in Chapter 2, but it may be sprinkled into the dialogue or background here and there until then.
The other thing I wanna highlight is Chiaki herself. She briefly goes a little into her family life, and we finally learn her last name, which may or may not mean anything to you depending on whether you read my previous comic or not (it has been my worst kept secret for the past year). Don't sweat it if you haven't, though. MIS and Rain are connected, but they're both standalone too (so it's okay if you read them out of order, or one and not the other).
But if you're interested in Rain, I do appreciate you checking it out. XD
