[Chopin - Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 playing in Piano]
The weak sunlight, which was coming in through the huge glass doors of the living room, reflected off the cover of a grand piano, kept at the center of the room with a small stool placed adjacent to it, and illuminated the interior of the room in a bright multi coloured hue.
What a fine morning it is!
Yet another day in Polsha,
With the wind dancing to the cries of swollen autumn leaves, falling from the trees in despair. Truly a sight to behold!
The multi coloured spread of nature everywhere on the roads, filling up the dearth of warmth, as the Foehn winds have now abandoned the lands for this year.
Cycling through such a transcendental solace sure brings on a feeling quite similar to love…
On either side of the road are old couples, spending time witnessing the demise of leaves with their loved ones, maybe taking a little insight on what the final act of their journey would look like.
The future looks upon me the same way it does on them and yet somehow the road goes on…
…To a place, in need of emotions, a place in need of company and yet a place which has it all…
I would rather like to slowly dissolve into this dream of my own imagination;
How?
By these notes I play, of course…
Oh, there’s the place; Just beyond the border of imagination it lies, as a midnight's dream perhaps or a lullaby being sung to children but it exists for sure…
I can see it
Someday maybe they will too
But until that time-
*Smiles*
For now let me close this morning celebration of life with an arpeggio…
“Oiiiii dadaaaaaaa”, cried out a young girl of about 12 years of age, from the house entrance.
At this sudden disruption of harmony, he almost fell off his chair in shock.
“... Huh…(Sighs), Rini- I have told you countless times to not disturb me while I’m pleasuring myself with my piano!”
Loud footsteps could be heard from the doorway passage as she came running while saying, “That creep has come againnnnnnnnn-...!”
She lost her balance, and crashed into the kitchen door.
“HEY, are you okay?!”
“Kind of…” she replied trying to get up “ANYWAY he has been following me secretly all the way from the park…”
“WH- WHAT!?”
He stood up.
“Some creep has been FOLLOWING YOU, you say?”
“Yes!”, yelled Rini, with a scared expression on. She was now inside the living room.
“W-w-wh-wha-what should w-we do then!?” he exclaimed while biting his nails.
A dark atmosphere overruled the harmonical rhythm which had been formed by the piano a while ago… the sunlight was getting cut off by the trees which were shaking mildly due to an untimely air current.
*khesh khesh*
“H-HEY DADA… isn’t that the sound of foot-steps from the la~wn” her voice shook near the end as she stared outside the glass doors with fear.
“I-it must be some piano rival o-of mine Wh-WHO has come to take me down for any grudge may be… R-r-RINI, come here FAST!”
He pulled Rini and dived under the piano.
*khesh khesh khesh*
And here I was thinking, what a lovely morning it was… Was that all a premonition of misfortune as in Until Dawn!?
*khesh* *KHESH*
The footsteps came closer and closer until they stopped in front of the glass doors. The unknown figure was now standing just outside the doors!
“R-r-rin~i (gulp) l-l-let me see its face, d-don’t make any noises”, he whispered before tilting his head forwards in order to get a glimpse of the person who was now knocking wildly on the glass doors.
“OPEN THE DOOR!”
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAA”, shrieked Rini and fell backwards on the floor, making her brother lose his balance, and falling in front out in the open.
The cover was now blown!
WHAT SHOULD I DO!
P-P-P-POLIC-CE, NO WAIT THE-ERE’S NO MOBILE ON ME…
In the middle of a thousand and one possible scenarios going on through his head, he gathered a little bit of courage thinking about how the doors were locked from inside, and slowly tilted his head upwards UNTIL he found… a familiar pair of glasses staring at him?
“UM… Shaurya, What are you doing with your little sister under a piano right in the morning :-|”
“SOMEONE KILL ME !!!!!!!!”, he yelled as he choked on himself.
“Arre, Dhruba da; What are you-, WAIT! Was it you who was following me?”
“You all do realize that I am standing here for a pretty long while, don’t yo-… … … … …”
“Ye-yes”
Rini quickly stepped forward and unlocked the door.
Dhruba slid it open BUT before he could step in, Shaurya jumped on him and crashed into the lawn as he ducked.
“Hey Saswati, has your big bro lost his brains?”
“Eh…”
“Ai, you IDIOT!” yelled Shaurya in a cold voice as he got up “What are you up to following my sister around!?”
“Pretty big words for someone who almost pissed his pants to nothing XD, anyway I was just trying to play hide and seek… wait and to my understanding she mistook me for some creepy stalker with a mental image of the one in Perfect Blue XDXD”
He sat down at a corner of the room, laughing his guts out.
“Eh heh he ee…” smiled Rini shyly feeling totally embarrassed
Shaurya walked into the room scratching his head.
“Now, Rini- see what you did to my lovely morning due to a simple misunderstanding huh…(sighs)”
“XD, anyway what are you still doing in your sleeping outfit bhai?”
“That’s… he he, you see - when I came to this room, this fine morning (after she left that is) uh… This radiant beauty of the gleaming lights, fell upon my dreamy eyes and enchanted me into playing the piano!” he exclaimed dramatically
“You were just lazing around, I see… ;)”
“I will really kill you… -_-” said Shaurya as he sat down on the stool “Hey Rini, prepare 3 cups of tea…”
“DOn’t order me around you idiot!”, she exclaimed before running away to the kitchen
“So, what brings someone like you into my humble pavilion at this time of the day, and oh yes, btw…”
“Ask one question at a time -_-”
“Well... I heard, from a reliable source, that… you are into tuitioning nowadays outside of the meet”
“Heh”
“Hey, hey why do you look so evil all of a sudden!” exclaimed Shaurya as he crawled away from him.
“Who wouldn’t…”
A cold gust broke the silence as he continued staring at the ceiling.
“...if destiny told you to”
“...Wha-?”
“Just you wait for him! And also… tighten your seatbelt ‘coz this is gonna be one hell of a ride!”
