Tap Tap Tap
Desperate, aggressive tapping but not a single win. Ethel groaned in frustration while his character's head was crushed in the boss's strong grip and the large word 'defeat' faded into screen. "Ethel! You've gotta be careful, dude." His teammate called from the headset.
Ethel sighed and leaned back into his pink gaming chair, leaning his head against the soft headrest. "I know, I know. This is so lame.." He grumbled knowing this was the level they struggled to beat for some time.
"Oh crap, I've gotta head to work. I'll try and play later this evening. See ya." The words dark4nd3nvious has logged off made Ethel realize he was now alone in his lobby.
'Work.. Don't I have that?'
Ethel rubbed his chin, his stubble of a beard scratching at his fingertips. He turned his attention to his phone while it rang with his ringtone, the words 'Boss Man' was read on the screen. "Yo, what's up?" answered Ethel, a bad choice.
"Don't 'yo what's up' me! You're fired!" The man known as 'boss man' shouted through the phone angrily, making Ethel surprised. "Huh?! Why!" Ethel frowned, getting fired from another job wasn't something to be happy about. "What do you mean why? Ethel, this is your sixth absence this month! I'm sick of it!" Ethel scoffed at the response given, so what if he missed a couple of days? At least he goes in, sometimes. And who needs a job when there are video games? Then again, you'd need a job to make money and then use that money to buy more video games. Ethel could see where he went wrong but he wasn't going to admit that
"Whatever! The job sucked anyway!" Ethel returned the aggressive tone to his former boss before hanging up the call, "Damned old man.. Who does he think he is coming to me sideways like that? I woulda shown him if we weren't over the phone.." grumbling, Ethel finds that he gets a notification on his computer. He had gotten a message from a random. He was curious about what it was so, obviously, he had to open it.

Nothing but confusion filled the thoughts of Ethel. What sort of game was it? Is it a scam and will his account be hacked if he really clicked the link?
"One way to find out." Risking it all, Ethel confidently pressed the link. His screen became black and soon did his vision.
