Gravity Falls Aggressive 2 is a complete remake of Gravity Falls 2. Because the remake is a completely different game, the plot is the same, but the visuals are completely different because they were made from scratch, and the voices were re-casted, and the cutscenes were also redone, and it also uses Unreal Engine 4.
Synopsis: After the events of the first game, Dipper and Mabel now face a new mission. When Gideon partners up with an evil mysterious triangle named Bill Cipher to invade the Mystery Shack, Dipper, Mabel, and their friends must come up with a plan to stop them. In order for the mission to be a success, Dipper and Mabel must think of a new strategy to defeat Gideon. It won't be easy, but they will do their best as their sibling bond is so good and strong.
Gameplay: Gravity Falls Aggressive 2 is a 3D action-adventure game played from a third-person view. It is a remake of Gravity Falls 2 (2004), so the game is completely different. The gameplay mechanics are the same as Gravity Falls 5, Gravity Falls Aggressive, and Gravity Falls 0, and because it's a remake, the game has the same story plot as the original. The game now uses an upgraded graphics engine, Unreal Engine 4 to update the physics, visuals, and redo the cutscenes. And the voices for the characters were re-casted. The art style is the same as the art style in the first remake, Gravity Falls Aggressive, and a prequel, Gravity Falls 0. This game has brought back 4P co-op, so now all the playable characters in the original version are back. The playable characters are Dipper, Mabel, Wendy, Waddles, Grenda, and Candy.
Trivia:
- It is the first game in the series that was published by Square Enix on Microsoft platforms.
- The 4P co-op was brought back since that feature was absent in the first remake and a prequel game.
- The Xbox Series X/S port has 4K support and 120 FPS support.
- The cutscenes are redone with CGI animated pre-rendered ones as well as in-game cutscenes.
- The game has a Smart Delivery feature where if you insert the Xbox One version into the Xbox Series X, you'll get the new-gen upgrade for free.
- Both the Xbox One and Xbox Series versions will utilize the Impulse Triggers.
- The Nintendo Switch version will utilize the HD rumble and have gyro support.
- The game can either be purchased as a stand-alone game, or part of a repackaged bundle for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S called Gravity Falls Enhanced Collection.
- The game is rated T for Teen by the ESRB for alcohol reference, blood, cartoon violence, crude humor, mild language, and suggestive themes.
