The Owl House Extreme is a complete remake of the first The Owl House game. Because the remake is a completely different game, the plot is the same, but the visuals are completely different because they were made from scratch, and the voices were re-casted, and the cutscenes were also redone, and it also uses Unreal Engine 4.
Synopsis: When a Spanish speaking Dominican teen, Luz Noceda, was being sent to Reality Check camp due to her weirdness, she was following an owl and suddenly she entered a world full of magic & creatures alike while meeting Eda the Owl Lady & her demon dog-like companion, King. In order to get home, Luz must help them with a mission. An ancient wizard gives Luz a map for a mystical quest.
Gameplay: The Owl House Extreme is a 3D action-adventure game played from a third-person view. It is a remake of the original The Owl House (2000) game, so the game is completely different. The gameplay mechanics are the same as The Owl House 5, and because it's a remake, there's no 4P co-op. The game has 2P co-op where one player is Luz, and the other player is King. In single-player, the player can switch between Luz and King at any moment of the game. Because it's a remake, the game has the same story plot as the original. The game now uses an upgraded graphics engine, Unreal Engine 4 to update the physics, visuals, and redo the cutscenes. And the voices for the characters were re-casted. And on top of that, the characters' appearances are now the same as they were in The Owl House 3 and onwards.
