On the rooftop, Haruto and his strange companion began to plot a strategy for dealing with the newcomers alongside Shinku. They overheard one of the guests who had joined Shinku talking to himself saying. "Oh boy, I wonder whether Nichigo ever beat Kinbin in Clorox," Aoi mused, then Haruto and the unknown person stood there watching as he strolled down the town's marketing sector, perhaps looking for someone, but they soon noticed that Shinku and the other boy were not with Aoi.
They devised a plan in which they would follow Aoi and he would lead them to Shinku and Kazuki. They then spotted Aoi conversing with someone on the other end of the Simiton, but they couldn't understand what he was saying. He started walking back in the direction he came from after getting off the simiton. As Aoi abruptly turned around and walked back in the direction he had come from, Haruto and his partner were puzzled. "Don't you think it's strange that he went back the way he came?” Says the figure in the cloak.
"You are correct," Haruto stated.
The shrouded figure mused, "Perhaps he's plotting something."
"I think the best way to find out is to follow him," Haruto concluded.
They started following him to see what was wrong with him. Aoi came to a halt after a while, looked around, and then came to a standstill in a specified direction, moving his head in that direction. Haruto and the stranger both turned to the direction Aoi was looking at, curious as to what he was up to. However, they couldn't locate anything when they looked around. They returned their sight to Aoi, but he was no longer there.
They jumped down to look for Aoi but were instead greeted with the sound of a girl wailing from the opposite direction of where Aoi had been looking. When Haruto and the figure looked over to where the crying came from they saw a little girl, they then approached the girl and inquired about her well-being and the reason for her crying, she cried, "I WAS WALKING AROUND IN THE MARKET AND I WANDERED OFF AND LOST MY MOMMY AND DADDY!!"
"It's fine, we'll take you back to your family," Haruto sympathized, having grown up without a family.
“HARUTO! Let's not waste our time with a brat like this one; did you forget about the mission we were given?" Uncomfortably, the figure stated.
"PLEASE, MISTER!" says the little girl, “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.” The small girl screamed and made a great scene.
“OK! OK! We'll take you back to your parents. Now you brat, stop sobbing." The person expressed his displeasure with the child.
“R-really? You're going to take me back to my parents?" said the small girl.
"Yes, stop questioning us now or we won't take you to your parents!" remarked the cloaked figure.
"All right, mister," the little girl said.
"Now, where were you the last time before you lost your parents?" Haruto inquired.
"It was at the fish market," the child explained.
Haruto asked, "How did you get separated from your parents?"
"I got lost because I didn't like the smell of fish and I smelled some candy so I went to try to get some." The tiny girl said.
"Now, accompany us to the fish market, and we'll see if we can find your parents," Haruto kindly asked the girl.
"OK!" exclaimed the girl, her face beaming.
The small girl took a wrong turn to the marketplaces. This was spotted by the cloaked figure, but he didn't question it; instead, he just kept following her. The girl abruptly came to a halt in an alleyway, and Shinku and Aoi appeared out of nowhere. Shinku took care of Haruto as Aoi pinned the figure.
The two were perplexed by what had just occurred; they looked over to the small girl, only to see Kazuki in her place; they had been duped.
"You've run out of tracks to run on, Haruto," Shinku stated. Shinku then told Aoi to take off the cloak that had been hiding the figure to expose its identity. Aoi followed the instructions and revealed the individual to be...
