Chapter 2: School Life
“EVAN WAKE UP FOR SCHOOL YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE!” Skylar screamed.
He started to slowly open his eyes to see his sister in his room yelling at him. He got up and made a face at his sister. He got ready for school and ate the breakfast his mom made while his dad was off to work. Skylar and Noah are driving him to school, which is the worst. He grabbed his backpack, phone, and headphones, and went off into the car listening to music.
He said goodbye to his siblings and walked off to school. As soon as he got through the front doors, he could see the crowd of students all talking to each other. He hurried past all the students into his classroom. He sat down at his desk and took out his notebook. The teacher walked into the classroom and introduced the new students. He wondered why there were new students in the middle of the year but she passed by it. There were two new girls.
“Hello everyone! I am very excited to be here today. My name is Emilia, and I can’t wait to be with you this year!” Emilia sat down at her seat which was next to Evan's.
The next girl stood up and started to introduce herself.
“Good morning to all of you! My name is Valentina, and I am happy to share this school year with you!” Valentina quickly introduced herself and sat down next to Emilia.
The rest of the school day was like any other day he had been in. He sat down outside during lunch. He was eating his lunch while on his laptop trying to get work done that he did not do. He heard footsteps coming towards him and flinched. He looked up and saw Emilia and Valentina standing above him.
“What are you guys doing here?” He said in an annoyed voice. “Don’t you know the rumors the students have been telling you? If so, why are you here?” He gritted his teeth.
“Well, we would just want to hang out with you. You seem like a nice person to hang out with, and we are just like you,” Valentina smiled and so did Emila.
He soon realized what they were talking about, and he quickly smiled up at them.
“We would like to be your friends! We saw how the other kids treated you, and we know how it feels like.” Emila said cheerfully and held out her hand to him.
He gladly accepted Emilia's hand and stared at them with tearful eyes. He invited them to sit down with him, and they all started to chat with each other. Talking about random things they liked. Soon enough they all had to go to class, but they all gave each other their numbers so they could all stay in contact. School soon ended as he walked back home. He took out his phone, put his headphones on his ears, and started to listen to music while he walked home.
