I definitely feel for Christian here. When I was thirteen, our art class all painted a close up section of a drawing as a monottone piece. My best friend's piece was picked for an art exhibition and we were so chuffed for her. The rest of us were told to go and pick up our pieces from the front of the class. I walked up, took my piece, and - in front of the whole class - this discussion happened between my art teacher and me:
