(Holly's POV)
Its been an hour of being at this shop and Angel is dead silent. Blake finally got the royals to calm down, now listening to some conversation. "The eclipse is drawing near for the next crowning" Euanthe started "Yet neither of has children- uh, except for Jackal now" she corrected herself "So what are you going to do?" Blake asked as I turned my attention to Angel. "Angel? Are you alright?" I asked, only to have a head nod a 'yes' as an answer... she's acting strange "So Holly, Trixi, would you two like to work at the Wiccan's Heal shop?" Euanthe asked, turning her own attention to me and my cousin "Yeah sure, would we be payed or-" "I'll pay you every week" Euanthe replied. "This shop seems to be busy a lot and I've got my own responsibilities back in Hell" she continued "It's becoming too much of a mess, having two young and new witches- or well, a demon and witch I can trust look after the shop a bit whilst I'm in Hell would help a lot" Euanthe explained, me and Trixi both immediately agreeing to work at the shop. Hey, it's a paying job that will also teach us a little bit about our 'witch' heritage and new life. "I also have to ask you two something" Aristomache began, and of course that made me feel worried. "Usually witches and warlocks are only to do this at the age of sixteen, but I'm offering this as a one time thing since your now Hypnotics" we both gave her a confused faces, Angel now listening in on the conversation taking place "How would you two like to have a dark baptism?" "A what?" Trixi wasn't sure if she heard Aristomache right "What's a dark baptism?" I asked. "A witch's dark baptism is a highly sacred, unholy sacrament that is tremendously important to witches and their devotion to the 'dark lord'... it is one of the most ancient rites and witches have been performing them for centuries... so would you like a dark baptism?-" "Yes!" me and Holly exclaimed loudly at the same time. "Guys, you sure about this? devoting yourselves to Satan?" Angel asked, first thing she's said in the last hour.
"Um, yeah" Trixi answered "I'm a witch and a demon now Angel, why do you care?" I might've chosen... my words wrong "Your my friends! I always care about you guys, I'd actually kill myself for all of you!" "Angel-" "No. I'm sorry that I'm concerned about my friends joining a witch cult and devoting their lives to the fucking devil" Angel snapped. "I can't fucking do this..." she muttered, starting to walk towards the door "Angel Reaper" Aristomache said with a stern voice yet a few of us flinched a bit as Angel snapped her head back at all of us "No" she snapped back in a harsh and cold voice, pointing at Aristomache, "Don't call me that" she warned. "I don't deserve to be named 'Reaper' or any other name, not even 'Angel'- it's not my real name" she told us "No one asked for my actual name, everyone just assumed what it was" Angel's arm dropped to her side, hands balled up into fists "I never asked for this- I never asked for any of this!" she told us, gesturing to herself and to the royals. "I never asked to be a 'princess' of any fucking thing, never asked to be a a fucking mix-n-match of a demon and angel" Jackal looked at the ground, biting his lip "I never asked to be the Black Leader and I've never asked to be a fucking Hypnotic... all I wish is that I just stayed dead" Angel then walked out the front door, leaving everyone completely speechless as Green run out the door, surely going after her. "Well looks someone is close with her demon" Jadarius said, folding his arms "The hell is that suppose to mean?" Jackal questioned his cousin, glaring at him as Jadarius looked back at him. "You know exactly what I mean, 'sister dearest' isn't exactly one known to stay 'out of the picture', is she?" Jadarius smirked as Mike immediately held Jackal back "Jadarius" Mike warned as Jackal's eyes burned their fiery bright blue "Don't you dare talk about her like that" Euanthe harshly whispered to Jadarius. Okay, family drama isn't my speciality, but I know that this is something I don't Angel to deal with. Of course it's their business, best to be kept to themselves but she deserves more than this... so much more.
(Green's POV)
She actually ran all the way to Mid Point park. I only finally caught up to her when she stopped, showing no signs of being tired after running such a far distance "I never asked for anything... I'm a worthless pathetic girl given pity after her death" she said "That's enough" I turned her around, making her face me as I held her hands. "You were the greatest person when you were human and you're still that great person... the same kind, caring, selfless, forgiving and amazing girl you have always been" "No I'm not-" "I mean it Angel" I interrupted her "You deserve to be the princess of Heaven, the princess of Hell, the Black Leader and you deserve to be the second Hypnotic-" "Just stop" she begged, tears threatening to fall. Angel went to walk off again, but I grabbed her hand and pulled her back to me, hugging her tightly as she cried a bit "You are the most amazing person in the world, that's what I love about you, so please stop putting yourself down... cause we need our leader and friend to be her beautiful and amazing self" at this point, she was hugging me tightly as if I was gonna disappear. I ended the hug and held her hand "Lets go home, okay?" "... okay" I walked her back to the house, and once arriving 'home', we were greeted by Blake, who seemed really pissed off by the stunt pulled and before he went to speak, I gave him a cold harsh glare, a dark quiet warning to not speak.
"Angel, go up stairs, get cleaned up and go to bed, okay?" I told her receiving a small nod, still looking down as she headed up stairs. "Green-" "Back in the human realm, she had depression and becoming a Hypnotic made it worse..." I told Blake, glaring at him "So just don't go yelling at her if she's walking away from a conversation, okay?" I added, voice slowly filling with it's own venom. "Alright Green, but another step out of line-" "Blake, she's now got all this stress of becoming these important things... just back off for a bit, let her ask for help if she needs it" I told him, and he finally got the message through "Right... fine" he said, inhaling shallow air before speaking again. "That bounding ring-" "Like Angel said... we're just friends and right now I'm just trying to protect her like she is willing to die for us..." I told him "Now... I'm going to bed" I said before walking upstairs. I walked into my bedroom, being sure to close and lock the door behind myself before falling back onto my bed, waiting for sleep to consume me.
