Jeff Howard is a member of the Scarlet clan, a group of warriors who have the destiny to destroy the gravvers, monsters that once where humans that used the anti-blood, a millenial drug that became popular in recent years. And no one really knows who is trully behind of the popularization of the Anti-blood.
While Jeff has all this troubles to deal, he uses an special power that everyone of the Scarlet clan can use, but in his case, the appearance of the powers were too soon than the normal and since he is grandson of White Howard, one of the greatest warrior in the clan , Jeff had a hard childhood. And while he have a good hearth, the sometimes have to deal with the fact that the society that he is trying to save is in grat part against the Scarlet clan and in favor of the anti-blood and the gravvers, even if they are not human anymore.
