As bitter memory fades away, my heart must wonder,
"What will stay?"
Her touch, her face, her warm embrace,
I hope that it is not displaced,
By sorrow, loss, and or despair,
But can my mind still keep her there?
In my flesh and in my bones,
In my fingers, in my toes,
Her voice, her smile and her reply,
To when I said to her, "Goodbye."
