The backward was a big clearing with a giant chestnut tree in the middle. there was also a small table with a chair. Elian sighed as he satted at the small table and watched the bright blue sky. animals liked to come eat the grass in the clearing, so Elian watered and took care of the grass to give the animals the best source of food. as normally some animals roam the green grass, none showed up today. Elian thought it was strange.
As he was walking to the chestnut tree, he swore he saw a figure in the corner of his eyes. he got a little paranoid and get back inside.
an almost invisible mist was on the ground and Elian didn't noticed it. he just relaxed and prepared his bag for going to the village. this trip was a trip that should be prepared long before.
the villagers didn't like the little puppet maker so much, they saw him as a witch but they never really attack him.
Elian was in his thought when in the middle of the living room he stepped on a wooden hand.
"what the... that's not supposed to be there." he said as he picked up the hand and walked to the workshop. he froze as he entered the room. the puppet wasn't laying on the table anymore, it was SITTING.
"did i move you? i don't remember..." Elian said as he approached candide.
"is it you who put this hand in the living room? don't start a mess!" Elian said jokingly and laughed next.
"i know you didn't, little old me is starting to lose memory that's all" Elian added smiling as he putted the hand back in the drawers.
"whelp let's move you. where should i put you?" he asked talking to himself.
"oh i know the living room, it's where there's the most place!" Elian hardly picked up candide, after all the puppet was taller than him and the wood weighted more than bones.
Elian manage to move candide into the couch in front of the fire place and he sat next to him and picked up a book. the puppet maker didn't notice that the puppet was staring right at the back of his skull with a small rainbow blush and a demonic expression on it's face.
