Breathing. Heartbeats. The sound of wind. Wait! What was going on?!! Why was Beatrice not dead?!! She would have died if she'd stayed in the circle of the arena. But Beatrice immediately realised that she wasn't dead.
Wait! Why was she up in the clouds? And why was she floating? Or she wasn't. She could make out the arms of a fallen angel. An angel with blue wings. "Wait a second. What's going on?" Beatrice thought in silence as she was still flying up in the air.
This person seemed familiar. And his tone sounded so similar to a person she had met before. No. It can't be! It can't be! It must be someone she had met in her life. Oh... holy... fuck... no...
Beatrice looked at the angel. "Was he the person I will be joining forces with?" she thought while trembling with fear. "He looked serious. I hope he doesn't yell at me like an asshole or something like that."
"Beatrice. My name is Leo. I am the Angel of Lightning," the lightning angel spoke to her in a strict voice.
Unpopular opinions. Beatrice immediately identified the kidnapper who wasn't just a kidnapper. He saved her from the leader of her city! Her hometown! She was transported back to her hometown by a shining portal!
Beatrice knew it. The angel who had saved her had blue wings. He was not fallen. He was a lightning angel. And she already knew that his name was Leo.
"What's going on?!! Why am I in the air - with you? Aren't I supposed to die as a penalty?!!" Beatrice asked Leo, trembling with fear as she spoke.
"Beatrice, hang on! I got you! I am doing this to protect you even though I am not your father. The king of Thorn Arena is my father and I need you to go back to Thorn Arena now! The king needs you!" Leo spoke without shivers. He was indeed a strict person. Can't make him a boyfriend, I suppose!
"Thorn Arena?!! But why?!!" Beatrice responded with tears in her eyes. Heartbeats filled the cloudy air.
"The king needs you to collect our secret invitations. Then you and I will team up to become assassins," the lightning angel spoke up as they flew up to the high skies.
"Fine. I'm coming, Thorn Arena. And I am returning," Beatrice thought in a shaky voice that forced her to lunge down and fall into the clear blue skies.
