(Dammit why do I have to be so tired after writing a single essay about Chinese History *grumble* anyways, sorry for the delay I just finished my Eng and Maths exam a few hours ago and then my mom dragged me out to shop... anyways, lets get on with the story!)
The Gems woke up with sore eyes and tiredness washing over them- it had been a long night. They rubbed their eyes and reluctantly got out of bed. Connie and Greg washed up, and met the others in the living room- or what was left of it, at least. Bismuth, Lapis, and Peridot were already there, waiting for the two. Why did they wait, you ask? To talk about their dreams last night, of course. The three were waiting for them anxiously, fiddling their fingers, avoiding each other's gaze... When the two emerged, they kind of stared at them, wanting to get this painful conversation over with. Once everybody had settled down, Connie started, "Uh... so... you guys... got the visit too- right?" Peri looked up. "Yeah, he came to me... and comforted me... like he always did..." She broke into tears yet again. Lapis' eyes swelled up with crystal clear tears. "Same... I'm missing him so much... I can't take it. If it weren't for him... none of us would be who we are today." She too, who was normally strong, broke down into a puddle of tears. Bismuth's eyes watered. "Yeah... he came to me last night too... I still can't accept the fact that he's... he's go-gone." Connie joined in the sobbing, and cried, "He- He just came to me and said not to worry about him! How can I- we not worry about him! He's- He's dead and he tells me- to not worry!" Greg cried silently in a corner, mumbling something around the lines of 'I miss him too... he's my son, you know.' 'So... what did he say to you guys?' Bismuth asked. 'Uh... I think Steven told me that he missed me, and... that he will visit all of us soon.' Connie sniffed, wiping her tears dry. Lapis said, 'He said the same thing to me...' Peri nodded. "Same here." Bismuth sat down, arms crossed. "Yeah, me too." "He... came to warn me." Greg whispered, almost inaudibly. They all looked at Greg with confusion. "He... said that if the Diamonds come... we'll have to defend Earth... whatever the cost."
(Again... Im so sorry for the huge delay. EXAMS ARE FRUSTRATING AHHHHHHH I just might to have to take a smol hiatus just before the finale to take care of school. Don't worry, it'll only be a week or so.)
