"Yes dad... it's me." Steven broke down into tears too. Greg launched himself into a hug, sobbing, "STEVEN!! Wh- why are you here? Why did you have to go like this... I- I was so worried! Have- have y-you found a way to come back? Ple-Please... Steven! Say something!" He shook his son, his tears forming a puddle on his lap. Steven patted his father's back, repling while crying silent tears, "Dad... I'm here. Don't worry. I'm here because I wanted to visit you, to ease your pain. I'm sorry, but because of my situation, I can't go back to your world. Let's have a lil chat before my time is up, ok? Just tell me your worries, I'll do my best to soothe them." "Steven... thank you. It's just been...so hard for me these past few days. Learning that you were gone... Pearl...Garnet...Amethyst...dead...and that Homeworld is still after us...what do we do, Steven? We can't stop the Diamonds alone! We just only managed to hold when they came on Garnet's wedding! If they come at us again like that...Earth will be destroyed!" Greg broke into tears again, crying into Steven's lap. Steven stroked Greg's long hair, and muttered, "Dad...I know. If the Diamonds really come, I'll do my best to help, but my powers are limited in this state. You'll need all the help you can get. Dad." Greg sat back up. "Yea?", he sniffed. "I want you to gather all the people willing to help defend in Beach City to the beach if the Diamonds attack. Also, tell the Gems to destroy all the Galaxy Warps they can find. Finally, work. Together. We can't tolerate any mishaps, therefore all of you must devise a plan or strategy in case the Diamonds come. As I said, I'll do the best I can to help." "Steven. Thank you." Greg was crying rivers of tears by now, and he embraced Steven again. "Thank you." Steven smiled. "Your welcome, dad." Greg was left there hugging Steven as he vanished into thin air.
