The group was headed into a huge room with a waterfall and a pond.
"Heya guys!" Taurus yelled in the distance.
"Hey, Taurus whatcha doing there!" Cancer yelled back while Scorpio was waving his hand.
"Cmere, while-,"
"Hey, guys!" A voice of a young maiden was heard.
"Hello, Capricorn what's up!" Capricorn was running while carrying Leo's great sword.
"Whoa be careful with that thing, wait, is that Leo's greatsword?" Scorpio asked, he knew Leo and Capricorn sometimes don't get along very well.
"Yeah, okay, before you say anything. Her weapon was dented," Capricorn showed the part of the sword with the dent.
"Oops, I think she hit my shield too hard earlier." Cancer jokingly said.
"Okay so, let me continue, she wanted Sagittarius to fix it. But he didn't want to, he's just a lazy ass that always makes me do his work. Anyway, surprise, surprise she did. Now excuse me, I have to get dirt somewhere."
Capricorn ran off near the pond and grabbed some dirt.
"Hey! Would you guys get over here already!" Taurus yelled.
Cancer and Scorpio were surprised to see Pisces already there. They both walked to the place Taurus was sitting upon. They both laid down on the pond while Pisces was walking around the water."
"Cancer! Want to join me?" Pisces asked as she was creating animals made out of water.
"I'll pass for now dude, I'm gonna take a rest," Cancer replied.
"Aww okay," Pisces said while she continued to play.
"Hey so I've made this for you two, Pisces already got hers." Taurus pulled something behind his back.
"I made this for you Cancer, it's a pearl necklace. And as for you Scorpio." He took a bit of dirt and crushed it in his hands. When he opened his palms the dirt turned into black opal beads. And he put them all in the string and tied it into a ribbon.
"And this is for you." Scorpio wore the opal bracelet.
"CAPRICORN! Come here I made something for you!"
Taurus scooped up some dirt and did the same thing again. But this time a Lapis Lazuli ring was formed.
Capricorn fixed the dented great sword and was running to their side.
"Oh, Taurus, you know I could make any of these at any time," Capricorn took the ring and wore it. The blue gem shone as it reflected moonlight.
"Are you planning to give every zodiac one?" Capricorn asked.
"Well, I'll think about it, but I know they'll lose it and forget they even have it."
All the zodiacs sat down near the pond watching Pisces play.
"Have you guys seen where Aquarius and Virgo went? I didn't see them with Aries and the others at the observatory, where could they be?"
-------------
The view of space, planets, stars, and galaxies was amazing. Virgo was sitting at the cliff of their island.
"Virgo, you're always sitting there."
"Aquarius, would you please stop frightening me." Virgo would always stay away from the other zodiacs. After every meeting or gathering, he would go to any edge of the island and just watch the day go by.
Aquarius on the other hand, "Would you move, I'm going to jump."
"There are a thousand other places you could jump off and you pick the spot where I'm sitting? Oh please Aquarius."
Virgo didn't move in his spot while Aquarius started running. Aquarius was quick and managed to jump over Virgo and fell into the cliff. Virgo looked down at the falling Aquarius and wasn't impressed at all.
Aquarius, falling, felt the wind against his whole body. He closed his eyes and held his hand out. He fell slower and slower and in a few seconds, the wind stopped flowing against him but instead stopped completely.
"Now time to go up," Aquarius smirked and flipped over. He was steady and was floating. With a wave of his hand, he controlled the wind to his might. He looked up as the wind carried him up, he was going at a really fast speed and dashed through Virgo.
He looked at Virgo who still looked unimpressed,
"Oh come on man, isn't this cool?" Aquarius was bubbling with joy.
Virgo rolled his eyes, "It was cool the first time I saw it but seeing after seeing it every day, you look like an idiot."
Aquarius stopped at his tracks, "That's the nicest thing you have ever said to me, I feel honored." He said while wiping a fake tear off.
Aquarius continued doing all sorts of acrobatics and even practiced some fighting moves.
The air signs were able to fly and Aquarius was the fondest when it comes to using this power.
He would spend hours upon hours flying around the island. Just as how Virgo would spend hours just hanging at the edge of the cliff.
Virgo stood up and he started playing with his powers as well. Just like Capricorn and Taurus, he can make precious metals out of dirt, but he could do something else. The other zodiacs also say that he picked the boring powers to practice.
He saw a small flower. He went near it and motioned it to grow, the little flower bloomed and grew. He was holding back, he stood up and ran onto the field. Wherever he stepped on the grass grew, the little flowers bloomed. It might be boring for the other zodiacs, but for Virgo, it was an elegant and fun power.
The strong wind that Aquarius created was now a gentle breeze. The little flowers bloomed and the grass grew. Virgo smiled and laid down in the patch. He looked up at the stars again, bright and beautiful stars.
He looked carefully at each star, "This is what I've always wanted when I was on Earth, a proper view of the stars."
Though, there was a particular star that caught his eye. It seemed to be glowing brighter and brighter. Until the calm breeze wasn't so calm anymore, it was howling.
"Aquarius! Would you mind!" Virgo yelled he wasn't going to be bothered until he saw Aquarius completely still.
"I-I'm not doing that! It's that glowing thing!" Aquarius hurriedly flew down and landed next to Virgo.
"Is it a meteor?" Virgo worriedly said while trying to get a look at the bright object.
"This far away? We don't have meteors come here often," Aquarius replied.
"Well, we should warn the others," Virgo insisted.
Just as both of them were going to run, Aquarius saw that it was not a star nor a meteor.
"Virgo wait! It's- HERMES!" Both stopped dead on their tracks and ran to the direction Hermes was landing.
Hermes landed, "Are there only two of you here? Where are the others?"
"Sir, they're inside, what brings you here?" Aquarius asked while Virgo remained dead silent.
"This," Hermes pulled out a scroll, "this is a message from the gods. You've got to hurry and give this to everyone, don't read it yet and make sure when you do, everyone hears."
Hermes handed the scroll to Virgo.
"I'll leave this to you," Hermes said before flying away.
"Well, what are we waiting for! We gotta gather the other zodiacs but where?" Virgo asked.
"Gather them at the observatory, I'll call the others. I think they went to the pond." Aquarius said before flying off.
Carrying the scroll, Virgo ran to the observatory.
-------------
"Hey guys, gather up, Hermes gave me a scroll. He said it was a message from the gods." Aries came into the room.
Aries and the other zodiacs were intrigued. They all are always interested when the topic is about the gods. They would sometimes let them go out on missions but the last time they went out, something went wrong and they were never sent out since, so anything new would either be news of them being sent out again or if they had finally decided to throw them out.
"What is it this time? Did they come to tell us about what we did wrong again?" Sagittarius asked.
"I don't think so, everyone was stuck in this godforsaken island ever since that time and I certainly don't remember any of us trying to do anything to make things worse," Libra answered him.
"Can I borrow that for a few seconds." Aries nabbed the scroll out of Virgo's hands and started undoing its seal.
"Hey! Hermes said not to read it until the others are here!" Virgo scolded him as he tried grabbing it back. Aries wasn't one to give up easily so the scroll was stuck being gripped hard on both ends by him and Virgo.
"Let go, Aries, you can read it once the other zodiacs are here." Virgo stared him down as an attempt to make Aries' grip loosen from the scroll. He was afraid that he might tear it.
"They'll get here soon anyway, can't I at least take a little peek first?" Aries spoke to him and tried to convince him to let go. He wasn't intent on relaxing his hold on the scroll either. He was afraid of what would be written in the scroll.
If it was about what happened back then, he couldn't let the others see it first. He was the one who messed up the most so he believed that the gods planned on removing him from the zodiacs and announcing it in front of everyone. He needed to make sure that the scroll wasn't about him before showing it to everyone.
"Aries, let go." Libra stood up from her seat and went to the two that were fighting. Sagittarius also stood up and joined Libra.
"She's right Aries, what if both of you accidentally rip apart an important message from them?" Sagittarius tried to calm him down. Aries was still thinking about the scroll so he wasn't able to hear what they were saying.
"Listen," Virgo tried to choose his words carefully.
"It's just a scroll, you don't need to be angry over it. If you're thinking of what's written inside, it's probably them scolding us again or maybe even thinking of apologizing maybe."
"The gods apologizing, what an absolutely absurd thought," Aries said skeptically. The gods were full of pride and weren't known for apologizing easily unless someone forced them. Even so, the thought of it made his grip loosen a little.
"Even if it was about one of us being punished, it wouldn't be a big deal, right? We've already been punished by staying in this castle for years." Virgo said. He didn't know it was what set off Aries.
"WOULDN'T BE A BIG DEAL?" Aries pulled the scroll toward him and used his free hand to punch Virgo. "YOU WOULDN'T KNOW A THING IF IT WERE YOU!" Virgo hit the wall and held his stomach. He often watched Aries fighting the other zodiacs but this was the first time he actually faced him.
"Virgo!" Sagittarius and Libra were both shocked by Aries' sudden aggression. Even though he was usually like this, he was reserved around the weaker zodiacs or those that didn't like fights. Libra ran up to Virgo to see if he was okay. The Gemini twins both looked back at the noise and saw something interesting. They were immersed in what they were doing that they didn't know what was happening around them until now.
"Look, Aries is holding a scroll." the boy Gemini pointed out to his twin.
"I wanna see what's inside!" the girl Gemini said.
"What in the hell is going on in here!" Aquarius yelled while the other zodiacs followed behind.
"Oh my gods, Virgo!" Cancer shrieked.
"Don't let him open the scroll!" Sagittarius pointed at Aries.
Aries summoned his sword, "Aries calm the hell down, there is no need to summon our weapons." Leo approached cautiously.
They didn't notice an injured Virgo summon his double axes.
"What the heck, I thought we were just gonna read a damn scroll," Pisces said backing away. She had summoned her trident just in case the situation was going to turn worse.
Capricorn was still holding Leo's greatsword, a second later it disappeared and was seen in Leo's hand again.
"I thought you just said weapons weren't needed in this Leo! Now you're just contradicting yourself," Libra stepped away from the fight.
"It isn't for Aries it's for him!" Virgo dashed at Aries but was stopped by Leo. Aries quickly tried to counter-attack but Cancer defended Virgo.
"You're siding with him, Cancer?"
"I'm siding with no one, Aries. Stop this nonsense."
Aries hadn't noticed but the scroll that he was holding earlier had left its place. The Gemini twins were both running away with it. They secretly took it when Aries was focused on Virgo.
"Hey, you two brats!" Libra said, "Get back over here!" She suddenly noticed the two running out the observatory. "Sagittarius, help me catch them!"
"I got this!" Scorpio shouted and summoned out his whip. He tied a loop at the end and used it as a lasso to catch the twins.
Not long after, "Scorpio, I'm following you!" Capricorn summoned her scythe.
"I'm also going to help." Taurus summoned his spear and followed.
Sagittarius slowly backed out the door and hid alongside Pisces.
"Hey! The damn scroll!" Aries noticed that it was missing and tried to avoid the fight and joined to chase the twins until Aquarius quickly punched him.
"That's for my friend." Aquarius then flew after the twins.
Sagittarius was standing outside the observatory watching the others run after each other. He was confused and a little sad.
"I'm pretty useless, aren't I?" He said to himself.
"Don't worry, I feel your pain." Pisces appeared and gave him a pat on the back. "But it would be useful to finally use those arrows of yours, I only have a trident that can't even do anything but stab things."
They both watched the others try to chase the two fast brats. Sagittarius stood up and aimed at the flying figure in the front. He slowly took a breath and put all his focus on his target. He felt the ground on his feet and made a path in his mind. He pulled on his bow and released the arrow he was holding. It followed his path and quickly made its way to the target.
"What the-" The Gemini in front suddenly found themselves pinned on the ground. This caused the other twin to also fall down.
"Got it!" Aquarius zipped past and grabbed the scroll.
"Give it to me!" Aries came after him and seized a part of the scroll.
"Hey!" Virgo suddenly appeared out of the ground and pulled on the scroll.
With the three simultaneously pulling on the scroll, it suddenly ripped apart.
"YOU BLUNDERING FOOLS! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Libra got pissed
"Aw crap." Pisces and Sagittarius arrived on the scene and saw the pieces of paper on the ground.
"Uh guys," Taurus said while feeling a rumbling on the ground.
"WHAT?" Everyone said in chorus
"Virgo, Capricorn, do you feel it? The ground, it's-"
"EVERYONE TAKE COVER!" Capricorn screamed.
An extremely strong earthquake was felt, everyone fell to the ground and wasn't quick enough to take cover.
A very bright light surrounded them and slowly covered the whole island. The zodiacs that touched the light started fading away and disappeared. The others tried to save the ones in the light but also disappeared. The ones who were far from the light were locked in place, looking at the others who were dissolving into light.
"This is all your fault, Idiot!" the fading Virgo said to Aries who was still stunned by what was happening.
Aries had realized what he had just done. He looked at the torn piece of paper that he got from what used to be the scroll.
"Goodluck."
