As if it was the starting bell the armed peoples faces twisted in hate and they charged towards the monsters with their fierce battle cries assaulting my hearing. (Still not sure how my hearing works. Much less my sight.) The monsters also roared their own battle cries as they plunged forward to tear apart the humans while the defenseless started to flee (Why the hell would they do that? We still have the ants to worry about!). I, on the other hand, hadn't forgotten about the looming threat like the rest of the idiotic monsters and continued to run away with terrified screams and fearful roars echoing behind me as the ants joined the fray and tore apart anything that moved.
I was once again running like a coward from the conflict. But this time I wasn't leaving behind flowers to die. I was leaving behind actual people to die.
(A/N) Sorry for this. The word count was 500 words over the limit. So I had to split it.
