The first morning light shined through the trees as the animals started to awake from their slumber. The forest was buzzing with the life of the forest but in a small cave, one creature refused to come out and embrace the sun's warm and welcoming light. A small silver dragon was curled up in a ball as it soundly sleeps in the darkest part of the cave. Its body may be small but it was slim and its horns had a curve that showed that it was a female. Her scales glimmered like diamonds at the reflection of the sun but the dried blood dirty the pearl-like scales. The dragon was trembling as it whimpered in its sleep must likely having a nightmare. "Father no! I don't want to leave you!!!" The tiny dragon cried out in her native tongue. The dragon opened her ruby red eyes to see the darkness of the cave that she took shelter the night before. Her mouth was parched while her body was aching in pain. The little dragon slowly got up from the ground even though the pain was shot through her body. She took shaky steps towards the exit, but eventually, she made it out of the cave. The young dragon screeched at the sun as its light blinded her momentary the dragon had to use her blooded wings to shield her eyes from the sun. Once her eyes adjusted to the brightness the silver dragon let her wings drop to the ground. The young dragon stood there bathing in the sunlight as she listens to the life of the forest. She stayed there for a moment until she started to move again into the forest when she remembered how thirsty she was. The young dragon remembered what her father told her how to find water, Listen for the sound of running water. Listening to her father's instructions she listened for running water it was faint but still nearby.
The pain started to numb down as the dragon continued to walk towards the source of water. However, her muscles started to throb with each step that she takes and she was panting like a dog. The young dragon felt as if her entire body was being weighed down. Still, that didn't stop her from trying to get to the water when it was so close and close was an understatement the silver dragon can hear the splashing of water. Without hesitation, the silver dragon quickens her pace to reach for the water. She kept on going until the dragon walked through an opening of the forest to see a stream of fresh, crystal, clean water. The young dragon couldn't wait any longer so she sprinted towards the stream and dunk her muzzle into the sweet refreshing water. The dragon looked at the water to see how the light bounces off from the water's surface. The sight triggered a memory of her family.

"Now little ember you must remember whenever you are lost you must stay close to a river until we can find you." A deep voice speaking in the dragon tongue spoke to the little silver dragon. The tiny dragon looked up towards the giant dragon that was before it. The dragon had dark grey scales covered his muscular body that indicated that the dragon was a male. His horns had a slick curve to the end and his eyes were as red as blood. His talons that were as sharp as spears dug into the earth beneath its feet and his iron hid glistened in the sun's radiants. His proud stature showed that he was not afraid of anything the little dragon's ruby eyes shined with admiration for the dragon. "I will Baba!" The tiny sliver shouted in excitement before she started to listen for the river. The older dragon laughed at the little dragon's energy until his blood-red eyes turned from a fond gaze to a serious look. "Ga'areula..." The large dragon called out to the little dragon. She turned her head around and smiled as she ran towards the older dragon. She looked up to see her father had a serious look in his eyes. "What's wrong Baba?" Ga'areula asked in concern. The older dragon lowered its head towards the tiny dragon. "Listen to me Ga'areula...There will be a time in the future where I will not be here for you nor will your Mother." The dragon said with a frown. "What do you mean Baba? Of course, you'll be here! You and Nene are the strongest dragons that ever lived!" Ga'areula said as her tiny wings spread out with pride. "Little ember do you remember the stories I told you about Man?" The dragon asked in a low tone. "Of course I do Baba! They're evil creatures that take what they want and only leave desecration in their way!" Ga'areula shouted in anger at the mention of the foul creatures. "One day those horrid creatures might end up killing us one day. But if you ever end up finding yourself alone in the world..." The dragon suddenly lifted his head up towards the sky. "Look towards the stars. Find our ancestral constellation and at the end of Draco's tail head toward that direction and you'll find the haven for all dragons. Beyond the Kingdom of Astel, beyond the Elken Woods, you'll find the Forgotten Mountains. Go there if you are in dire need for salvation." The dragon looked down at his little ember who only turned her head in confusion. "I don't understand Baba," Ga'areula said in confusion. Ga'areula's father only gave the hatchling a sad smile "You'll understand someday.."

Ga'areula started to cry as she remembers her father before she threw back her head and gave out a sorrowful howl. Almost like the forest heard her cries storm clouds started to roll in and rain down on the poor dragon washing away all the blood and dirt off her pearl-like scales. Ga'areula kept on howling until her voice was hoarse and then slumped into the stream. "Baba, what should I do now?" The small dragon pleaded for guidance until the rain slowly stopped and the sun peeked through the dark clouds. The ray of light seemed a message from heaven and the light-headed north-east of the forest. Ga'areula remembered what her father told her what to do. " Beyond the Kingdom of Astel, beyond the Elken Woods, you'll find the Forgotten Mountains." She whispered to herself before Ga'areula pulled herself out of the water. She unfolded her wings and took off to the skies in search of the dragon haven in the hope to get away from the evils of man. However, she didn't know that a mysterious hooded figure was watching her from afar on horseback. When the young hatchling took flight the mysterious figure started to follow the young dragon at a fast pace.
