As the young hatching drifted off in a deep slumber, with her wounds cleaned and stopped bleeding she curled up in a ball at the end of the cave. She wasn't aware that another dragon was watching her through a beautiful blue crystal with a pained expression in its crimson red eyes. The dragon was slim which clearly showed that it's a female along with its curved horns on her crown. The dragon has pitch black scales with grey scales tracing from her neck down to the end of her tail. The dark dragon's wings were beautifully folded but every second they would move showing discomfort. Thousands of other dragons were watching the tragic events that had happened to the hatching. "This is an outrage. Those filthy beasts would even prey upon a hatching!" One of the dragon screech in rage. "They must be punished for this heinous crime!" Another screech as others were causing an uproar.
"The humans lied to us! They broke our agreement!"
"Humans are monsters! They deserve the same fate!"
"This calls for war!"
"Silence!" The thundering roar of the dark dragon shooked the entire cavern silent. "You all know very well we cannot call to war among humans! So many lives were lost during the Ignis Wars and we are the last of our kind!" The dark dragon said solemnly. "But even though we agreed upon peace the humans still wish to destroy us!" A bitter and dark voice sends the cavern quiet as all the dragons turned towards the entrance of the cavern. Stepping towards the light of the crystal a dark crimson dragon showed itself. The crimson dragon's dark hazel eyes were sharp and full of hate and the broad structure that was covered in scars from its crown down to his tail showed that it was a male. The dragon's horns were crooked and broken. His wings were as wide as the entrance of the cave and down on the edges of his wings they were severely damaged it showed he had fought in harsh battles in the past. Its a miracle this large dragon could fly.
"What was it we've agreed upon again? That the dragons would not inferior to the lives of humans or their affairs and they shall stay away from our territory. We will not taste a drop of human blood and they will not skin out hides." The crimson dragon listed on while feeling the thousands of frightened glazes on him and he loved it. The power to frightening those around you was something he took the pleasure of. "So tell me this Brothers and Sisters. Why do we continue to follow under the humans' rule if they continue to hunt us down? I believe that severe our ties with the human scum for good!" The crimson dragon declared, throwing the carven into a frenzy. Upon the dragon's lips was a self-righteous look that contained a wicked purpose.
"You're imploring that we should declare war among humans. Have you not forgotten about the war we fought.....Dear, brother."
The dark dragon spoke with venom dripping off her voice as she glared towards the crimson dragon. "You know very well I have not forgotten about the war dear sister, but let me ask you this Why should we follow the words of creatures that took everything from us?" The crimson dragon said with a glare of his own. "First, the humans take over our ancestral homes for their stone fortresses. They raid our caves and slay our kind to feed their endless hunger for gold and jewels. Why do you think there are so few of us left?" The male yelled making the other dragons quiver in fear of his mighty voice. "There are so few of us left brother. Don't make us go into a war that we can not win, the world isn't as simple as it was before. Please, Glycon it's not worth the bloodshed..." The dark dragon pleaded with her head bowed to the superior male. However, it was futile to reason with the enraged dragon. He wanted to shout at his sister for her love of humanity but he got an idea a wicked idea. "Dear sister, you and I cannot speak upon for everyone here for they haven't stretched their wings out ever since the Silver Leaf Treaty was signed. But what about the hatchling?" Glycon asked his sister who gasped at his question. "The hatchling suffered first hand of the human's cruelty. So she should be the one who decides that if we go to war or not." Glycon with fraudulent. "Glycon!"
"He's right!" One of the dragons roared while cutting off the leader.
"Let the hatchling decide!"
"She's the one who's suffering!"
Soon the entire cavern was in a frenzy with every single dragon. "Well, sister it has seemed that we have reached a verdict and you know the law," Glycon said with a smug on his face. The dark dragon hated it but she knows that he is right but there was one flaw in his plan. "Your right brother if the hatchling comes here with hatred in her heart then we will go to war." Glycon couldn't help but smirk at his sister's defeat. "However, if the hatchling comes here with no haterade among the humans then we'll have no reason to go to war." The dark dragon said with a commanding voice that made her brother snarl at his sister. "Such as the law states brother..." The dark dragon said giving her brother a sharp look. "Such as the law...." Glycon said to his sister before he left the caverns.

After the meeting, Glycon was in a forest alone waiting...
His long ear picked up the sound of footsteps in the darkness behind him, but he didn't feel threatened. "The Clan has decided that the fate of this war shall be placed upon a hatchlings heart...." Glycon spoke in a human tongue. "Make her see that the humans are the scum of the earth and that scum must be purged," Glycon said in a low voice before his tail pushed a bag of treasures across the field. Before a gloved hand grabbed the bag and left the great dragon in peace.
