Ever hear of Vlad the Impaler? He was a real. One of his favorite methods for killing spies was to lock them in a room with one of the most venomous snakes in the world. When the spy was inevitably bitten they would be given the offer to talk and recieve the antidote or to die. When they chose the anti-dote they died within minutes because they had just drank the poison. He tricked them into death as his snake was devenomed
