"Thelma? How are you still alive?" Mable asked her, confused. "None of your business." Thelma replied, glancing to Betty's door behind Mable. "Now then, I think you should go home. It's clear that Betty doesn't want anything to do with you." She mumbled. "No. Betty's mine! Not yours!" Mable stomped her foot. "What do you mean by Betty's yours?" Thelma asked her. "You tried to steal Betty away from me!" Mable explained with anger in her eyes. "What?" Thelma asked "you want to steal Betty away from me!" Mable claimed. "What are you talking about?" Thelma questioned. "Don't act dumb! You're trying to steal Betty away from me!" Mable's brows furrowed. Thelma glanced at the ground, confused. What was she talking about? She thought to herself. "Oh, you look confused. Let me explain, you told Betty to end our friendship because you were jealous. You told her claim that I was controlling!" Mable explained. "You were controlling. I wasn't making that up." Thelma corrected. "Whatever. The world will be much better if you were gone." Mable whispered as she walked to her house across the street.
"Wait, she really said that?" Betty asked her. "Yes, unfortunately..." Thelma sighed. Why does everyone hate me? She thought to herself. Betty hugged her "I am so sorry she's like this." She apologized. "No. Don't apologize for her. She needs to apologize herself." Thelma hugged Betty back. "You're right. Let's go make her apologize!" Betty exclaimed as grabbed Thelma's hand and dragged her across the street. She knocked on Mable's front door. After a minute of waiting, Mable's mother answered the door. "Hello, Betty." She greeted "hello, Ms. Mable's mother!" Betty greeted back. "What can I do for you, today?" She asked her. "Mable just needs to apologize to my friend, Thelma." Betty explained "she does?" Mable's mother paused "Mable!" She yelled. Mable came running down "Betty! I knew you still want to be friends!" Mable excitedly hugged her, well tried to. Betty stepped back, dodging the hug. "Apologize to Thelma." She said, kind of politely. "What do you mean?" Mable asked "apologize to Thelma for threatening her, almost killing her and all around being a piece of garbage around her!" Betty almost yelled. "What? Betty..." Mable mumbled. "Go on! Apologize!" Betty demanded. "Mable, apologize at once. Or, else, I'll treat you like Rose!" Her mother chimed in. "Ugh. Fine. I'm sorry, Thelma." Mable said as she slammed the front door on them.
"Yeah, I know. That was so rude of her." Betty sighed. Thelma looked to her right, feeling pity for Betty. "Anyway, I'm going to go back home. Bye, Thelma!" Betty said as she skipped away. Thelma just watched, making sure that she's safe. After watching Betty safely go home, Thelma continued walking through the forest behind her house. She kept walking until she found a small lake. She walked towards it and sat down. She stared into it. The small waves it created made Thelma feel satisfied. It was all satisfying to her until people started to trot through it. "There she is!" One of them shouted. Thelma slowly got up and tried to run, only for one of the people to grab her wrist. She shouted for Betty or Ms. Lisa. She shouted for anyone, really. She was dragged by them to this little house. It was like a bakery but there was meat there. "Am I going to get butchered?" She asked herself. "I'm sorry we have to do this, but Dollie's orders." One of them sighed. "Did you get her, Joseph?" Dollie asked her. "Yes, I did..." he sighed. Thelma calmed down and examined the people around her. There was a young girl with ginger hair there. She seemed like she didn't want to be here right now. "Debra, go make some pastries." Dollie demanded. "But I don't want to.." she mumbled "what was that?" Dollie asked. Her tone of voice had seriousness in it but she had a smile on her face. "I mean... right away, big sister!" Debra said as she made her way to the bakery. "Don't call me sister! Call me by my name, Dollie!" Dollie shouted at her. "Judith, go butcher the rest of the meat." Dollie turned towards another cyclops. "Of course, Ms. Dollie!" She smiled as she walked to the butchery, where Thelma assumed that was in the back with the bakery. "Joseph, go put her in my butchery. Make sure to tie her up so she doesn't escape." Dollie ordered "and, when you're done with that, go help sell that pastries that Debra made." Joseph turned towards Thelma "yes, boss." He sighed.
As they arrived in Dollie's butchery room, Joseph said "go. Go and escape. Make sure you're far from this place!" He dropped Thelma's wrist and pointed to the window in there. "But you'll get in trouble..." Thelma responded "don't worry about me. I don't even work here full time." Joseph grinned in pity. Thelma nodded and climbed out of the window, Joseph helping her. She landed on the ground and made a run for it. She ran and never looked back.
