Alex
Everything was white. So this was what it felt like to be in heaven? Finally, after all the good deeds I did, they were enough to get me to heaven. But wait why did I feel like there was some water being splashed to me? Did they still have water in heaven? Ah, silly me, it must be holy water.
Wait, wait, wait, was that an angel? He was a guy, holding a glass, had no wings and smirked at me? I thought all angels would smile, like a genuine smile, not this evil smile. Why did I feel like I have seen him? How, when and where? Arghh
‘YOU!’ I abruptly moved into a sitting position and pointed at him.
’ME?’He said, trying to look as innocent as ever.
‘How dare you splashed some water on my face, you effing houseman!?’
‘Oh – oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to splash it on you.’ He said looking down as if he was feeling guilty. But that smirk, gosh, I would love to smack that smirk off his face so bad.
He looked up to me still with the smirk plastered on his face
‘Stop smirking!’ I demanded him.
’May I know why, ma’am?′
‘Don’t be stupid, you know what I mean.’ This man was really on my nerve and on top of that he was just a freaking servant ‘You better be sorry this instant or I will tell your master. I can tell that you’re new here so FYI, I’m his wife and that means you should do everything that I asked you to.’
‘Oh, I’m really sorry, ma’am.’ He said, a pleading look in his eyes.
‘Good now leave me alone’ Instead of leaving this room, he just laughed.
What the hell?
‘I said leave, don’t make me repeat myself. You don’t know how powerful I am, do you? Have no idea what kind of things I can make your master do to you?’ He was still laughing.
‘Oh God, you really know how to make a good joke’ He said, wiping a single tear that came out of his eye.
‘IT IS NOT A JOKE.’ I said through gritted teeth.
’Since when has he ever listened to anyone? Not even his father can do that.′
‘Let’s still remember who you are talking to here.’ I said with power in my voice.
‘Oh, I do remember what you are. You are the same crazy girl who almost died from falling off the window.’
‘First, I am not a what, I am a who. Second, I AM NOT CRAZY.’
‘Oh. Why are you hanging from the window then?’
This man was really on my last freaking nerve now ‘What do you think, servant?’
‘Because you are an idiot?’ He said in the most innocent voice ever.
‘You dare call your master’s wife, an idiot? You ungrateful servant. He will surely fire your ass after this!’
’Again, why would he listen to you?′ He asked.
’Because I am his wife and he loves me so much.′
‘Oh he loves you so much, then maybe he would like to know why his lovely wife hung out from the window earlier with his pants that looked like a rope made by his wife tied to the bed leg?’
Shoot, I should find something good to come up this time.
‘That’s just my way to know how tall one building is. You see, you just need to count how many pants you need. Turned out, I need lots of pants which means this building is really tall.’ I said, trying to sound confident ‘Oh and I needed to tie it so that I didn’t lose count, it’s just part of the formula you know.’ That’s good Alex, he will buy your stupid lies for sure.
’Really? so it’s not your unique way to run away?′
‘Course not.’
’You know what? It doesn’t take a genius to know that you lied, what kind of people would do that to measure how tall a building is? Oh yeah, not any kind, it’s just you, my master’s lovely wife.′
