When I awoke, there was nothing but a burning sun that torched my starlight skin and chared my steel blue eyes. Beneath me was smoldering coarse sand, and it endlessly towered over me.
It was painful laying on the boiling sand, yet I could not move. My body was sore and in utter agony, as if I had fallen from a great height. I had this disgusting dryness in my mouth that tasted of morning and dirt that was choking me. I desperately desired something to stop the scorching sand and parched feeling in my throat. I begged the sky above for relief, and water began to pool around me.
As ice cold water flooded around me, I begged for something to shield me from the incinerating sun. Trees grew from the ground creating forests and rocks roared from the earth to create mountains. I was able to find solace beneath the shade of the trees and sitting in the running river.
I wanted the light to go away, so forests and mountains grew. I wanted the burning to disappear and cooling water materialized. I watching my deepest desires create the most beautiful landmarks and I watched as my ideas turned into their own creation.
Nature was what first came to me, and I roamed the earth for centuries. Grasslands, hills, fields, mesas, lakes, rivers, oceans, and so much more developed before my eyes. Before I knew it, there was so much life, beauty, and wonder. Everywhere I looked was green and lush, and there was so much wonder to explore… yet so much silence. The only sounds the earth made was the running waters of the rivers, waterfalls, oceans, and the sounds created beneath my feet. I did not know I could speak for five millenniums.
There was so much beauty that had sprouted from my deepest desires, and for a long time, I was content becoming familiar with every nook and cranny of the world. As I explored, I watched the evolution of life around me. Plants evolved, landscapes changed, animals came into existence.
I studied life, learning everything there is to know about this world…
Yet something was missing. As the world around me evolved… I wondered if anything like me would ever come into creation.
