I like drawing pages where characters break out of panels but sometimes it makes drawing pages a bit difficult because I don't do it often so I add all the effects and things the way I would a regular page (without a character breaking panel borders) then realize when I'm adding text and sound effects that I have to go back and color in little tiny sections then start messing with the text all over again.
I liked Mnemosyne's hair when I was just doodling her for what eventually became the comic's front cover, but now that I'm drawing it in pages it's become a bit of a nuisance, haha. All the waves and pearls in it. Though I think I wouldn't mind it so much if I didn't go in and detail it? Leaving it just a blob of color with shading and highlights seems a lot easier.
But I kind of made up for Mnemosyne's complicated design by making Ambrosia's simple.
I'll talk about Mnemosyne's sister on the next page, as that's where she'll go into a bit more detail about her. I don't want to spoil anything ;)
