Mei looked at the man in front of him and didn't say anything. She just remained quiet and observed him. The relatives which she has, did not shed a single tear earlier but this man in front of him is bawling his eyes out like a little boy.
“Are you talking about my parents?” He nodded in front of her and couldn't stop his tears. “I was just relieved. I was. . I'm just. . I couldn't think of what could happen to me if you were taken from me too. I would die.” He said as your heart felt like it skipped a beat. Before she was about to ask him something. The door slide open and comes another young man in a suit.
“Mei!!” The man said as he rushed to her but stopped halfway when he saw the man she was comforting. He scoffed looking pissed off. He glared at him and went to Mei. “Joon. What do you think you’re doing to my fiancee, you lowly butler?!”
Butler? Mei looked at him with her eyes wide open and looked back to the young man who just arrived. Fiance? She looks rather confused about all this. Her head beginning to hurt but she paid no attention to it and just wanted to see all of this to unfold.
“How are you feeling, love?” The ‘fiance’ asked. You just looked at him and scanned him from head to toe. She was wearing a khaki suit which looks so expensive. His hair was curled messily yet in a beautiful manner. He had a tall nose with a sharp jawline and tan skin. He looks like he came from a rich household. The butler, on the other hand, had some fair share of beautiful too but what makes him pretty is his eyes. It wasn't brown yet it's not hazel too. He has a beauty mark near his lip and eye which makes him so attractive.
“I’m good.” Mei answered flatly. The man reached out to Mei's hand gave it a kiss in the back. He looked at the other man beside his fiancee then glared.
“You should leave.” He ordered. The butler stood up from where he was and shifted a little on the side but did not leave.
“My apologies, Sir Keith I do not take orders from people such as yourself. My loyalty only lies to my masters.” He replied back while glancing at Mei. She was about to laugh it out but held it back.
“Suit yourself asshole.” Keith muttered to himself.
“I had a talk with my dad outside and he said that you hit your head in the accident pretty hard. They said that you were in coma for half a year. And got amnesia after the accident. I wasn't able to visit you cause I was so busy running the company. Forgive me, my love.” Mei looked at him and nod. In her mind, she was already listing the names of the people she had encountered with who knows her.
She began asking questions to Keith on their identities. What she had gotten were: Garrett Lee is not her real uncle but Keith’s dad. The two middle aged woman, one of them is Garrett's wife, Jenny Lee while the other one is her biological aunt and the last close relative she has. Her father's half sister, Eunice Han. The tall young man with her is their butler, Joon Kim. He was, in Keith's words, ‘stray’ which Mei's dad picked up and took care of. Her parents own SL Enterprise. The biggest electronic company in the entire country. He said that your dad, Steven Kim, built it off from the ground up. A lot of people admired him to this day. Your mother, Laena Kim, owns one of the famous entertainment company in the country and had grown success over it. After getting married, she decided to merge the ownership to your father's company. In a nut shell, since they are both deceased, the one who owns all of this is Mei. It was already stated in the will your parents had long made before they left.
“All the sudden talk is making my head hurt. Would it be okay if you leave me to rest?” Mei asked while glancing at the both of them. They nodded at the same time. Keith leaned to give Mei a kiss on the forehead before leaving. They walked out of the room after giving her one last glance. After they left, Mei began clinging on the sheets and started crying. It's true. She can't remember a thing. Nothing. Her mind is like an empty blank canvas waiting to be painted or thrown out. She's just bearing all of the pain inside so she wouldn't explode. Before she started being overly dramatic like her aunt earlier, she needs to figure out who they really are.
“I can't sleep.” She said after a few hours of shifting back and forth in the bed. “I need air. Fresh air.”
She slid off the bed and felt her knees numb. She fell on the floor automatically while she held on the IV stand for dear life. She took her all to stand in her own feet and fortunately was able to do it.

She headed to the rooftop and took a deep breath when she was finally out of the room covered in disinfectant and alcohol smell. She took a deep breath in and begin to recall Keith's story. I should trust him. I mean he is my fiance after all. Why would I want to marry a suspicious man? My parents would probably don’t allow me if he were to harm me. She said to herself then nodded. She was walking on the garden of the rooftop when she heard a familiar laugh. She walked near the voices and saw her aunt's back. She was about to call her when she saw him talking to the doctor who attended her. Mei quickly hid away knowing that he might give her a good scolding if she were found out in the cold evening when she just woke up from a coma.
“Here’s your pay.” Mei's aunt said, which she couldn't get a good look if it was Keith's mom or her relative aunt. Mei began getting curious as to why her aunt needs to pay the doctor in secret. “It's still the same. That stupid brat couldn't keep his hands to himself that he has to interfere with our plans like this.” Plan? Mei grew rather curious and walked near them without them knowing and eavesdropped.
“Yeah well, that bastard knows how to defend himself.” The doctor said with such arrogance in his voice. “We might have failed to finish the job but on the bright side, she doesn't know anything about the last few months. She doesn't even know how to handle the company. Soon enough the board of directors are gonna take action and kick her out of that position. After that, we'll be the one to sit on the throne we rightfully own, Mom.” He said then Mei saw him held on her aunt’s shoulder. He had a cold wicked expression in his face. It shoot cold shivers to Mei and she couldnt move from where she is. They were leaving and Mei had to quickly look for a place to hide and away from their sight. She finally saw who the woman was and it was her real aunt. Her father's half sister. Eunice Han.
Are they the ones who killed my parents? Did they called the shots? Were the behind all this? And they want to kill me too? Mei began asking anxious questions in her head and couldn't help but tear up. She heard the door closed and that's when she let out all the pain and fears she held back.
