Ali has been overreacting. I thought as we all got ready for bed Tuesday. She's just way overprotective of everyone. The problem was over as soon as it started and it hasn't happened again since. I'm still mad that those fifth graders were dumb enough to beat up a kindergartener, but that doesn't call for all of the stress that Ali put on this specific situation.
But enough on that. Since I had finished getting ready for bed I laid down on my mattress and pulled out my phone to read tonights webcomics. My favorite had just updated, so I quickly picked it to read the latest episode. The main character has just been confronted by four weird magical ninja guys while walking home from school and has no idea what to do, when a mysterious woman shows up and saves her from being kidnapped. I become so immersed in the storyline that it suddenly feels like I am in the story, affecting the plot with my choices.
I suddenly realize that I really am in the story. My phone is no longer in my hands and the only reason why I know what’s going on in the story is because I’m seeing it before my eyes currently. The mysterious woman from the story walks up to me like she knows something, and like something is going to happen because I am here instead of in the real world.
“You are Savanna Watingale, correct?” She asks with a worried look on her face.
“Yeah, but how do you know?” I say with my confusion growing by the second.
“I am Chara Miles, and I need you to come with me.” She says and begins to lead me toward the city that was around the school.
