It was Monday when I received an invitation to a party. Before that, though, it wouldn't be bad to mention that I live very isolated and have contact with nobody except my best friend Yamada. Anyway, it did not come into question to go to a party, which lies in a for me strange City, even though it was apparently not very far away and you could easily get there by train.
In the course of the day I noticed that many of my classmates as well as the ones of the parallel classes were also invited, so all those who were around my age, and also Yamada was. He logically tried me to convince, because such an opportunity rarely occurs. Ultimately he managed to change my mind by telling me that Tanekawa, my crush,
also goes to the party and that I might have a chance to get closer to her. So I decided the next day to look at the address again and to see what time it takes place on Sunday.
|| Sunday 12:00 am ||
The weird thing about this matter, which raised my doubts, was
that there is no sender but it's not only that.
Why should anyone, who lives in another city, invite people you does not even know?
Well Yamada shook off these doubts, like everyone else did,
and just said that it is normal that you sometimes just invites unknown people, and then expand your circle of friends. Well the thought anyway remained in my mind and this train of thought plagued me all week until Sunday.
/// 6 PM ///
Yamada and I got ready
and looked, well dressed and fine. But since this isn't how you should show up at a party, we decided to put some other clothes on which are more casual. After we were done, it was already around 8 PM. So we made our way to the train station and took tickets for a train, which drove there.
We first had to go to a receptionist at the station because the city wasn't shown at the ticket vending machine.. it hadn't taken long until we found one and of course we asked immediately. The look of the woman when we mentioned the city was a bit grim.
Well, maybe that's just what I thought. That's why I decided not to bother Yamada with that.
After our great success of getting the tickets, we still had to wait for the train for about 10 minutes, that's why Yamada decided to go to the toilet quickly.
So I stood alone at the railroad track without any other
People nearby. I have to admit that an anxiety accumulates in me. I mean, who would not be paranoid about something like that? Above all, the flickering light on the ceiling reminded me of a horror movie.
It was like someone would emerge at any moment from out of nowhere and-
My breath stopped immediately as suddenly a figure emerged from nowhere at the other end of the track.
How did this person get there?
How could she pass me by here, without me noticing it? Could it be that she was there the whole time?
There were too many thoughts in my head, so I could not really make a clear conclusion and just stood there paralyzed with fear.
Out of the blue, the person also started to talk and from there on I realized that something could not be right here.
"I see you're on your way to the party boy?", the person asked me with a female voice.
I stuttered, "Yes, how do you know that?"
Suddenly the person disappeared. As I looked around I could not see any trace of her in my field of vision. Yet something bothered me, a light and gentle breathing and it comes.. directly... from behind! I turned around frightened and caught the person with my eyes again. It was a young lady?!
"How do you get from one place to another so fast?
Who or what are you and what do you want from me anyway ?! ", it flew out of fear from me.
The lady started to talk again.
"Who I am ..? That does not matter. Nevertheless, at least I can tell you that- I'm all for you and yet I'm a nobody. You will not understand it anyway, but there's something I want from you, " she said, giggling.
Suddenly the lady faded in front of me. Not the skin. No, she were dissolving.
But before she were completely dissolved she said:
"Watch out for your next actions and decisions".
Then she disappeared and by the way the lamp, which had been flickering above me, went out completely now. When Yamada came back I told him nothing. I remained silent. Not because I did not want him to say that I were hallucinating. No... It is rather like that I for myself did not understand what happened some moments ago.
-Sequel follows-
Since I never wrote such a big story on English I am very sure there are many mistakes in this text, so if anybody happens to find one or more, please let me know about it :)! I also wouldn't mind to get some feedback :D!
