Getting a Christmas tree was always fun. We liked to cut down our own trees at a farm outside of town. It was a big farm, and Lee liked running around the trees, But one time right when Mom and Dad were deciding on which tree to cut, Lee thought it would be fun to play hide and seek. While Dad cut the tree, Mom and I frantically tried to find Lee. The problem is, if you call him, he can’t say, “Here I am over here.”
We ended up getting everyone on the farm, from the workers to other families, who had come to cut down trees, to help us find Lee. When we did finally find Lee, it was getting dark. One of the farmers said that finding Lee was the best Christmas present ever. After everyone stopped crying for joy, the Christmas Tree farmer gave us the tree for free. Merry Christmas.
