Life, it is nothing but a gracious concoction, a brilliant wonder of secrets.
An unresolved assortment of twists and turns spiraling into that of which it makes it whole. A complete conundrum to that of whom is reluctant to gaze beyond what is already seen. The circumstances to what first imagined our blank slates are meaningless, how we perceive our purpose just might be of more significance than the conclusion our slate was scraped from. Our last bout, is surely what makes up this essence that drives us. We’ve come to be aware of our end, aware of that slither of shadow we see being written upon with the fonts of exuberance, distress, and most importantly it’s most robust tool known exclusively as experience ready in hand. This is until we undoubtedly meet that purpose face to face, long enough to stare undauntedly into the greater depths of its unwavering cause.
Death, it is nothing but a discarded expectation, a hollow culmination of secrets.
An answer to our cognition, the resolution that set us up for its inevitable reasoning. The gateway dependent on all things born from our judgment. It is the absolute truth to our existence, awaiting us in the distant future calling us the further we fill our slate. What becomes of our traces left behind? For a new beginning they are simply put to be sheer evidence for a curtain call to a show projected by our very own imagination. Though, difficult to understand and better yet fathom our very thoughts are what bless this ending with immense value. It is essential that we carve a path that makes it easier for us to embrace this reflection of our self worth and onward.
Life and Death, one a beautiful fabrication and the other a painful authenticity, both coexisting with one another in a natural balance across all of existence. I had yet to grasp their offerings, I was only able to see what I wanted to see. But I was not alone in my incomprehension, in fact to my surprise I was welcomed with multiple individuals who shared the same complication that remained with us for what it seemed to be like ever since birth. As a result, we fled from our primary birthplace and made home among ruins of the unknown but good heavens were we in for a rude awakening.
It began on earth, my closest comrades that I gained through youth were packed tightly by my side as we stepped into the blinding darkness that was obscurity. We were called the Velatum, a team of scientists well above our expertise in the profession we so claimed to bare. We were known worldwide as miracle workers, people who brought forth happiness, delight, and joy to all that we came across. This reputation was our greatest achievement we all basked in on the daily but soon would we would realize it also marked the rise of our downfall. Our thirst for knowledge got the better of us, and unhesitatingly played us like puppets on a string. Our vision, his vision, was one led by our leader to bare fruit along the soil of a brand new world. We did not just want to cultivate a more pure way of life for humanity, we desired a fresh start and one that could never be disrupted. Our leader once said that “Faith is an ally dead without works” and with that we began forcing our dreams into reality as planned. He was bold, courageous, and leaderless beyond words. He could comprehend what I dreaded not to, and maybe just maybe, that is why I felt deep devotion towards him and his antics. The Velatum was his vessel and our ambition was it’s fuel. My love for him ached and with each heartbeat I could feel passion being formed in our wake. Our scientific proficiency was split evenly between our team of 10, we researched ways to claim lands of our own on Earth but it was all in vain once we realized we might just of had our heads in the clouds. I myself believed thoroughly in what our leader had in store for us and the power of its production. With that said, the Velatum made an extraordinary discovery once we uncovered a secret that had been a complete mystery in the eons of war and conflict that reigned supreme for on Earth. History was going to take a turn for the best, so we thought. The population of the world that had supported us for as long as our minds could remember started to become wary and quite discouraged by our actions and little did we ponder the consequences. They saw our obsession, our motivation as a disease a sickening twist to what the fundamental boundaries of realities could inflict on human beings but alas even that realization was not enough to waver us. Our expedition led us to the discovery of a lifetime, only to follow the clues into what seemed like at the moment impossibility. “The moment you start doubting yourself will lead to your downfall” our leader told us fervently and clearly. The speculations and contemplation's led us astray as we pushed ourselves to the limit and beyond trying to look for an answer to a place where we strained to reach. Our main objective was to create a world without suffering, one completely absent of sin, and yes even in death. When we finished our research we contrived the unthinkable. Instead of recreating the world around us as planned, we sought to locate one that we could build upon. Onward into our studies we concluded to take part in what we believed had never been done before let alone thought off. With all that had occurred, we let our wisdom take us down under into the earth’s core. Longing to find the foreign lands described in legend. It was no exaggeration to say that the skills we possessed allowed us to make trembling impacts into the the millions of days before us. It was then we unraveled a phenomenally inconceivable discovery, we did not believe our eyes.
The Velatum a team of earthly born scientists made up entirely of different religions, cultures, ethics and skills had found equality in a single dream. A completely vacant world was found underneath the earth’s crust, it felt as if time stopped for an instant as we stared star struck into an abyss of the unknown. Was this the final answer to what had tormented me for long? Would I live long enough to be able to even begin to decipher what was shown before me? As we came in closer, I could barely catch my breath. Each region in the world WE originated from wouldn’t allow us to experiment with what could be the greatest benefit earth could ever receive. The tools at our disposal were made by mankind itself and to think we could use those devices and equipment to drill deep enough to locate an entirely new world was too much of a thought to take in alone. Beneath the hard molten rock and heat that came our way, we buckled up and secured our suits tightly to make sure we would be alive to witness what was next. It was a planet, one surrounded by a thick mass of what was vaguely made out to be fog but the closer we became the clearer image became. It must have been what allowed the planet to exist for so long without being torn asunder by the intensifying heat, our eyes widened with wonder as the eerie fog like mist moved in an odd pattern. Nearing farther in before any of us could think, a piercing sound shattered our eardrums. It was much like the screech of an agitated banshee and before we could map out our next move the mist lashed out at us with incredible force. A flash of light beamed across the atmosphere and struck us down, for a moments notice we could see that we were falling through an empty void. We lost control of our bodies and minds and seemed they had shut down completely. Our eyes glowed a solid color of white and our bodies moved uncontrollably in spasms that spiked our anxiety levels to their highest peak. A burning sensation remained dominant over all else, and even that too was coated in a white aura. Body after body, we proceeded to fall directly into the dark world before us in striking rag doll fashion.
Thus, commenced the calamity to bring forth the new generation. For reasons circulating all apprehension, we became cursed. This planet felt to be our birthright to claim but a supernatural force was there to remind us of how naive we must have been. The events that occurred shortly after were hazy to me but I know for sure that I had to face the truth alone. I was lost and my team, they were no more. Along with the rest, Our leader, my dear love, his deceased body laid right before my eyes. As I wept at his passing, my heart had fallen to its lowest degree. My teary eyes reassured myself that this was indeed no dream. As I fought hard with casting my sorrow aside, I could not help that I was lost. I was in denial to come to grips with the fact that my entire team had depleted in the blink of an eye and so I did what I did best and rode that hopeless thought into reality.
It was in that fateful hour that it approached me, arising from the corpse of my lovers body.
A blessing disguised as an absolute sin.
A spiritual wraith wrapped in mist. Was this the same entity that attacked us before? I asked myself, regardless I could not help to react with unease.
It suddenly healed my wounds to full health, and as I looked around my teammates also benefited from this miracle and were restored as well.
Afterward, we all corresponded accordingly as this mysteriously unknown entity that once was hostile during our first meeting had lifted us from the ashes we were to soon rot it.
We named it SEUNNA. This mystifying phenomenon that found life among the carcass of all beings, and held the power within to recover the most grievous of all wounds. Without even a second of skepticism , a positively soothing rush of greatness chilled had chilled me down to the core of my very being. That redefining expression, I was too familiar with already. Their faces lit one by one across one another similar to that of an ignited torch that sparked with my single epiphany.
Thereafter, the barren soil that gave birth to all of the forthcoming foundation and it’s offspring were to originate from our vision, his vision, the future of an ethnically myriad of marvels. With this seunna we arranged our plan around that single basis to fulfill a dream left behind by our leader. It was our highest form of gratitude to its most polished form.
A realm nonexistent of suffering, and overflowing with jubilation.
The “ten” of us commencing all that would soon be made an “Origin”
Euphorically speaking, a genesis.
“XENYSIS” We titled it. A world of our own creation, filled to the brim with fascination beyond anyone's wildest dreams.
A catalyst for all things great.
Being bearers with the mysterious power of SEUNNA at our fingertips
And without laws to bound us to our limitations, It couldn’t possibly have gone awry?
So we thought.
