Dang, I must have been out for such a long time. I slowly opened my eyes and realized that I was in a car with a very scary bulky man next to me. No, not that scary cause he didn’t scare me, not one bit. HA.
I know I wasn’t in my lovely neighborhood anymore, I could tell from these scary skyscrapers in every direction. My neighborhood scenery consisted of ripped ugly posters, old buildings in desperate need of repair and empty cans rolling down the street every now and then. I was the average girl that lived in an average house with my loving family. Never ever in my life, I saw all these beautiful lights at night that glowed against the black sky. Hell, the only 2 nicest houses I've ever seen were Lynn’s and that jerk named Jacob’s house. They lived in the nicest houses in our zip code because of how rich they were. The eerie neighborhood scenery was the only similarity that I had with them.
Enough about that, now I was wondering about where were these idiots taking me? Looking out the window, I could only see skyscraper here and there. I haven't been to such a crowded city but I knew when I was in one. I was in New York.
From what I heard, it was a place where you could find people working on their new fruity laptop brand while drinking latte made from organic coffee beans that were imported from somewhere in South America to boost their immune system so that they could get back into the hailing awful environment that awaited them.
You would also find ambitious people who would go to college and pursue their career even when they have never even worked a day in their lives while the others partied all night like there was no tomorrow and talked about starting a new line of designer socks when they were drunk. That was only what I heard, folks so take it easy on me, kay?
I was getting really impatient right now, where were they taking me? What did I do that made them take me away from my life? How about my family? Why did my parents let them take me? I really needed to know everything because it involved me.
'Where are we going?' I asked.
'Airport'
Dang, his thick accent was something I should have googled on my phone next time. Note the sarcasm. But talking about phone, where was my phone? Oh yeah, it was still back home in my room. I left it because I never thought this would happen. Who the hell would think something like this about to happen to them? No time to think about that now, but wait did he say Airport? WHAT?
I needed to get out of this car but how? This bulky man could strangle me to death even before my next breath. I would not marry that guy, that old man. He must be forty or fifty-something, I meant the last time I heard about this chick brat organized crime was when I was 15 and the leader was already forty-something at that time.
I needed a plan, I meant a quick plan and lots of luck.
